Every Friday National Scouting Supervisor Nathan Rode provides a roundup of insider recruiting information and commitments throughout the PBR coverage area: The Buzz. CLICK HERE to take a look at the latest National Buzz. With that in mind, lets take an in depth look at the Maryland and area prospects who have committed to colleges recently with detailed scouting information when applicable.

We start with the big news of the weekend, as 2017 OF Conor Hartigan decided to de-commit from Coastal Carolina. Currently ranked No. 13 in the VA/DC class of 2017 ranks, Hartigan has athleticism all over the place. Here is our last scouting report on Hartigan:

HARTIGAN3.10.16:  Hartigan is an athletic outfielder who has the potential to be a true five tool player. In the outfield, he gets good jumps on the ball, has good speed, a quick release, and a strong arm. At the plate, Hartigan has an upright athletic stance, a short stride forward and a smooth load back. He has explosive hips and maintains balance throughout his swing. He is a bit longer to the ball but has incredibly fast hands that help him generate bat speed. He gets good extension through the ball and has gap power to all fields with home run power to his pull side and the potential for more as he continues to develop.

Now lets focus on the commitments of the past month.
