Highly projectable 6-foot-6, 190 lb frame with plenty of room to add strength. Moves well down the mound with athleticism in the delivery. Full, clean arm swing out of the glove to a side 3/4 slot that has an average height of 4-foot-9 on the fastball. The FB has life through the zone with spin rate up 2266 RPM and up arm side run up to 16" while sitting 82-83 MPH. Rentz shows some feel for both off speed pitches; kills the spin on the change with some fade while the CB has a tight, 10-4 shape. Velo projects to jump up a tick with added size and strength.
