With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Northridge Vikings

Division: III
2017 Record: 13-12
Conference Record: Licking Valley League, 3rd in Division
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/4

Team Strengths:

  • Defense
  • Pitching

Coach Outlook: “Bringing back a young but experienced team with a strong defense and good pitching.”

PBR Outlook: The Northridge Vikings may be young, but have some talent, including a senior in who is headed to Charleston. With eight starters returning, look for these young players to get better throughout the season with their best ball coming tournament time.
