Coach Flickinger led the Clinton Central Bulldogs to a 16-9 overall record in 2012. The Bulldogs won the Hoosier Heartland Conference championship with a 9-1 record. Coach Flickinger returns seven starters and four pitchers in 2013 to defend the title.

Leading the way for the Bulldogs in 2013 is junior C/RHP Jeff Scott, currently ranked the No. 12 prospect in Indiana's 2014 class. Scott attended last year's Preseason All State event and posted pop times of 1.98-2.07. Last season, Scott batted .512 and topped the team with 26 RBI’s. He is also the top returning pitcher after going 7-3 in 2012 and posting a 2.75 ERA. The Bulldog’s senior C/INF Justin Blevens was also a key piece in the lineup hitting .449 and knocking in 19 runs.

Among the top returners for Coach Flickinger are P/SS Jake Burton (2015), 1B Mitch Snell (2014), and outfielders Aaron Russell (2014) and Cole Simmons (2014).

Expectations are high for the Clinton Central in 2013 as they battle with Carroll and Rossville to defend their Hoosier Heartland Conference title.
