PBR Future Games: Missouri Workout Day

The Prep Baseball Future Games are underway with the Workout Day on Day 1 and games starting today, on Day 2.  Team Missouri had several high lights from the workout day. Here are some quick hits  from Day 1.

+ Tyler Bastunas (Timberland, 2019) showed on the overall infield leader board, posting an 87 mph positional velo. He has quick actions to the ball with a clean transfer and quick arm. 

+ Marcus Smith (Pembroke, 2019) ran a 6.55 60 time, among the the top five for the event.

+ Jimmy Obertop (Westminster, 2019), a physical catcher, had an 81 mph throw on is pop time. His best pop times of 2.00.

Other Notables

+ Four Guys posted exit velos of 90 mph or better.  Jimmy Obertop (92), Justin Congiu (98), Marcus Smith (93) and Shane Wilhelm (92).

+ Drew Mackie (Liberty) posted the top Missouri outfield velo at 87 mph. 

+ Along with Marcus Smith's 6.55, Brady Voss (6.85) and Justin Congiu (6.98) ran a sub-seven 60.
