With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Archbold Blue Streaks

Team Name: Archbold Blue Streaks
Head Coach: Dick Selgo
Division: III
2015 Record: 20-6
Conference Record: NWOAL, 5-3
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/3

2016 Team Strengths:

• We should be very solid defensively. We also have some pitchers coming back that were very effective last season.

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Hitting and scoring runs will be a question mark. This may be a big factor in how our season goes.

Coach Outlook: "This is a hard working group that is very competitive. They will give everything they have, every time on the field."

PBR Outlook: Coach Selgo and the Blue Streaks return a nice core from a 20 win team in 2015. Archbold has been a consistent program in D-III and will look to be competitive in the ultra difficult NWOAL while making a run come tournament time.
