2017 Spring Team Preview: Field Falcons

With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.
Starting in Mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2017 Spring Team Preview: Field Falcons
Team Name: Field Falcons
Head Coach: Joe Peterson
Division: II
2016 Record: 17-7
Conference Record: PTC, 1st place
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/4
2017 Team Strengths:
- We have a lot of young players that are very excited to get on the varsity field.
- We also have a couple players that will be in key spots that already have a lot of varsity exp.
2017 Team Weaknesses:
- Lack of consistent varsity experience
- Starting pitching experience.
Coach Outlook: "We are replacing a lot of key players, especially on the mound. We are replacing over 100 innings on the mound. We are very excited about our kids."
PBR Outlook: The Field Falcons and head coach Joe Peterson have to replace a lot of innings on the mound, but look to do so with some talented ball players. Look for the Falcons to be in every game and playing their best ball come tournament time.
