With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.
Starting in Mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2017 Spring Team Preview: Sycamore Aviators
Team Name: Sycamore
Head Coach: Pete Muehlenkamp
Division: I
2016 Record: 5-19
Conference Record: Greater Miami Conference, 3-10
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/all
2017 Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: "This is my first year as coach of the Aviators. I take over for my former coach, Chris Shrimpton. He was here for 31 years before retiring last Spring. The team will be a veteran team that understands the challenges of competing in one of the best conferences in Ohio."

- RJ Barner, SR, .351 OBP, 8 SB, 2 3B, 3 2B
- Jake Borman, SR, 2nd team all league, .360 OBP, 5 2B
- Nick Wade, SR, .417 OBP
- Jay Fields, 2 year starter.

- Josh Glynn, 3 year starting Varsity catcher moves to outfield this year.
