With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Norwalk Truckers
Team Name: Norwalk Truckers
Head Coach: Wesley Douglas
Division: II
2017 Record: 18-6
Conference Record: Northern Ohio League, 8-4, 3rd
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/3
Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: “We return a solid nucleus from an 18-6 team. We should have solid pitching and be better than average up the middle. Our outfield with need to step up offensively. We have a really nice group of seniors that have put in the needed time to give us a legitimate shot at a league title. Our schedule is as a tough as I can remember in my 22 years.”
PBR Outlook: A solid core returns from an 18-win team, which has coach Wesley Douglas and the Truckers ready for the 2018 season to get underway. A solid senior class will lead Norwalk.
