We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ohio’s Southern Unsigned Senior Games. This was a great opportunity for 2015 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their workout and in-game action. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event.

Aaron Miller, RHP, Milford, 2015

6-foot-1, 180-pound average build. The righty started the game out pounding the zone. Has a quick tempo delivery with a little deception on his lift, but gets in line at foot strike. Throws from a high-¾ slot with fastball sitting 81-83 mph with some arm-side run. Breaking ball was hard with a sharp 11/5 break sitting 68-70 mph. Shows good arm speed with his changeup at 74 mph.

Alex LoPiccolo, SS/2B, Mayfield, 2015

5-foot-10, 170-pound build. From the infield projects more as a second baseman. Shows good hands and fields the ball in front and needs to quicken up his exchange. Throws from a ¾ slot with top velocity of 72 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets back to even. Starts with back foot pointing in and has an uphill swing with top exit velocity of 78 mph and ran 7.37-60 yard dash.

Blake Roedersheimer, C/2B, Boone County, KY, 2015

6-foot, 180-pound build. From a crouch he has decent footwork with good release and throws from a ¾ slot with pop times of 2.08-2.10 and 71 mph arm strength. Switch-hitter that from the right side uses a leg kick to load and dives into ball with an uphill finish. Top exit velocity from the right side was 79 mph. From the left side uses a little longer stride with a good flat path and top exit velocity of 74. Ran a 7.9-60 yard dash.

Brandon Bush, LHP/OF, Fairfield Christian, 2015

6-foot, 170-pound athletic frame. From the outfield he needs to be more aggressive coming to the baseball. Throws from a high-¾ slot with 71 mph arm strength from the outfield. Right-handed hitter that has a slightly closed stance and doesn’t stride with a little load. Had three hits on the day with a flat bat path and top exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 7.51-60 yard dash. On the mound the lefty has a simple, up tempo delivery and was able to pound the zone. Fastball from over the top sat 71-73 mph with some arm-side run. Breaking ball showed depth at 60-63 with a 1/7 break. He slows down a bit on his changeup at 65-66 mph.

Brandon Williams, OF/SS, Beavercreek, 2015

6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic build. From the outfield he takes good routes, but opens up on his throws from a ¾ slot and top velocity of 74 mph. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Uses a leg kick to load, dips his back shoulder and shows good bat speed. Registered top exit velocity of 80 mph and ran a 7.11-60 yard dash.

Brenden Anderson, 1B/LHP, Stebbins, 2015

5-foot-6, 175-pound small, stocky build. From first base he shows decent footwork around the bag and throws from a high-¾ slot with 69 mph arm strength. Left-handed hitter that has good balance and doesn’t use a stride to stay compact. Swing path is slightly uphill with top exit velocity of 71 mph and ran 9.82-60 yard dash. On the mound the southpaw has a simple delivery with good balance. Throws from a high-¾ slot with fastball sitting 66-68 mph. Breaking ball has big, gradual 1/7 break sitting 55-57 mph. Throws a hard changeup at 63 mph with good arm speed.

Collin Habel, C/1B, Arcanum, 2015

6-foot-2, 260-pound big body. From behind the plate he needs to quicken up his footwork, but has a good exchange. Throws from a ¾ slot with pop times of 2.20-2.36 and 69 mph arm strength. Right-handed hitter that stands tall and starts with high hands. Uses a toe tap and a flat path with top exit velocity of 80 mph and ran 7.72-60 yard dash.

Curtis Lands, OF/2B, Logan Elm, 2015

5-foot-10, 145-pound frame. From the outfield he fields the ball in front of his body. Throws from a high-¾ slot with top velocity of 69 mph. In the infield he field the ball into his body with a good exchange. Throws from a high-¾ slot with 71 mph arm strength. Right-handed hitter with a high elbow and high leg kick to load. Decent rhythm at the plate that has tendency to dive in. Registered top exit velocity of 78 mph and ran a 7.48-60 yard dash.

David Hall, OF/SS, Buckeye Valley, 2015

5-foot-9, 175-pound average build. From the outfield he needs gets to the ball fine but needs to quicken his exchange with less steps. Throws from a high-¾ slot with 75 mph arm strength. Right-handed hitter with good rhythm in his swing. Has short, compact swing that produces line drives. Registered top exit velocity of 83 mph and ran 7.87-60 yard dash.

Davis Adkins, RHP/3B, Norwalk, 2015

6-foot-1, 190-pound build. From third base he shows soft hands and a decent exchange. Throws from a high-¾ slot with top velocity of 76 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that stands tall and uses a toe tap with a short swing. Registered top exit velocity of 82 mph and ran 7.75-60 yard dash. On the mound the righty has a good tempo delivery with good direction. Throws from a high-¾ slot with fastball sitting 75-77 with arm-side run. He slows his arm down a bit on his breaking ball at 64 mph with a 11/5 break. Throws a good changeup at 64-66 mph.

Dillon Roof, 2B/RHP, Riverside, 2015

6-foot-3, 185-pound projectable frame. From the infield he has limited range. Has soft hands and throws from a high-¾ slot with a top velocity of 71 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that stands tall with a short swing and collapses a bit on his back side. Registered top exit velocity of 72 mph and ran 7.58-60 yard dash.

Eric Conner, OF/RHP, Moeller, 2015

6-foot-1, 196-pound strong build. From the outfield he projects more as a corner guy. He takes good routes and throws from a short high-¾ slot with top velocity of 77 mph. Right-handed hitter that is really impressive in batting practice. Shows good balance and bat speed with strength in his swing. Big power guy to pull side with an impressive 94 mph exit velocity and ran a 7.33-60 yard dash.

Harrison Patton, 3B/SS, Eastwood, 2015

5-foot-10, 175-pound strong build. From the infield he showed limited range and soft hands. Throws from a high-¾ slot with top velocity of 61 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Uses a little load and keeps his hands inside the ball with a high finish. Hammered a double off the wall to left field and registered top exit velocity of 76 mph and ran a 7.88-60 yard dash.

Jacob Taylor, RHP, Princeton, 2015

6-foot-1, 200-pound build. On the mound the righty has a strong lower half. From over the top his fastball has some down angle sitting 78-81 mph. He slows his arm down on his breaking ball sitting 64-65 mph with a 11/5 break. His changeup is hard and has good arm speed at 73 mph.

Jake Murray, C/OF, Colerain, 2015

5-foot-9, 180-pound athletic frame. From the outfield he is aggressive coming to get the baseball and uses a good crop hop to create momentum on his throw. Throws from a high-¾ slot with 81 mph arm strength. Behind the dish he shows good footwork and quick exchange with pop times of 2.01-2.09 and 78 mph arm strength. Left-handed hitter with a good set up that starts open and gets to squared. Shows some strength in his swing, but has a tendency to pull off at times. Really showed well in the game doubling off the right field wall and also adding a single to right. Registered top exit velocity of 82 mph and ran 7.12-60 yard dash.

James Tennenbaum, SS/RHP, New Albany, 2015

5-foot-7, 170-pound stocky build. Two-way prospect. From the infield he shows good range, soft hands and a clean exchange. Throws from a ¾ slot with top velocity of 76 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Uphill swing with power to pull side and top exit velocity of 82 mph and ran a 7.36-60 yard dash. On the mound the righty has a simple quick tempo delivery and throws from a ¾ slot. His fastball sit 78-82 mph. His breaking ball is hard and sharp and made a lot of hitter buckle sitting 69-73 mph. Shows a changeup with good arm speed at 74 mph. 

Jordan Spurling, SS/OF, Groveport Madison, 2015

6-foot, 168-pound build. From the outfield he is aggressive in his routes to the baseball but need to be a little more under control. Throws from a high-¾ slot right by his ear with 70 mph arm strength. From the infield he is limited in his range. Has soft hands and throws from a high-¾ slot with 68 mph arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that uses a leg kick to load with good bat speed and an uphill swing. Registered top exit velocity of 80 mph and 7.59-60 yard dash.

Josh Breadon, RHP/1B, Walnut Hills, 2015

6-foot-6, 205-pound projectable frame. From first base he is a big target and moves well around the bag. Throws from a high-¾ slot with 77 mph arm strength. Right-handed hitter with a spread out stance. Needs to get his foot down in time. Registered top exit velocity of 85 mph and ran 8.18-60 yard dash. On the mound the big righty close himself off a little and comes straight over top with his fastball sitting 80-81 mph with good down angle. His 12/6 breaking ball has some depth and was consistent sitting 67-70 mph. Throws a hard changeup at 76 mph with good arm speed. Did not allow a hit in two innings of work striking out three.

Justice Griebel, OF, Olentangy Liberty, 2015

6-foot-2, 175-pound athletic build. From the outfield he took good routes to the ball, but needs to work on his run through ball that will give him more momentum on his throw. Throws from a ¾ slot with top velocity of 81 mph. Right-handed hitter that stands tall with a leg kick to load and a flat bat path with bat speed. Registered top exit velocity of 87 mph and ran a 6.86-60 yard dash. 

Justin Hopkins, SS, Anderson, 2015

5-foot-11, 160-pound skinny frame. Really flashed the leather in the defensive portion of the workout. Showed good range and good footwork getting to the baseball. Soft hands, good actions, and a clean exchange with top velocity of 75 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Showed good bat speed with a high finish and laced a double to right field. Registered top exit velocity of 84 mph and ran 7.01-60 yard dash.

Justin Polk, 2B/SS, Carroll, 2015

5-foot-6, 150-pound small frame. From the infield he project out as a second baseman. Limited range with good exchange. Throws from a short, high-¾ slot with top velocity of 70 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter with a good set up and a little kick to load. Flat swing with top exit velocity of 74 mph and ran 7.39-60 yard dash.

Luke Bashardoust, LHP, Loveland, 2015

5-foot-10, 170-pound solid build. From the outfield he does a good job coming through the baseball and throw from over top with 71 mph arm strength. Left-handed hitter that starts open and get to even. Good bat path with an uphill finish and top exit velocity of 76 mph and 7.69-60 yard dash. On the mound the lefty has an easy, repeatable delivery with a good finish. Throws from a high-¾ slot with fastball sitting 65-67 mph with some arm-side run. Breaking ball has a slow 1/7 break at 56-57 mph and he holds onto his changeup to long at 61-63 mph.

Max Leigh, LHP/1B, Lebanon, 2015

6-foot-5, 195-pound projectable frame. The southpaw has an up tempo delivery that pauses at balance point. Throws from a ¾ slot with fastball sitting 73-75 mph with sink. Throws his breaking ball with good shape at 64-65 mph with a 1/7 break.

Mitchell Bodden, OF/2B, Lakota East, 2015

5-foot-10, 150-pound frame. From the outfield he takes good routes getting to the baseball and needs to cut down on his steps into his crow hop. Throws from a high-¾ slot with top velocity of 79 mph. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Swing down on the ball with two hits on the day and top exit velocity of 78 mph and ran 7.19-60 yard dash.

Ryan Lavy, RHP/3B, Troy, 2015

5-foot-11, 180-pound strong build. From third base he fields the ball into his body and winds up on his throw. Throws from a high-¾ slot with 74 mph arm strength across the diamond. Left-handed hitter that starts slightly open and a spread out stance. Hands start out high and shows power to pull side with a single to right and top exit velocity of 79 mph and ran 8.18-60 yard dash. On the mound he has a slow tempo delivery that closes himself off at foot strike. Throws from a high-¾ slot with fastball sitting 77-80 mph with some arm-side run. Breaking ball has depth at 66-68 mph with 10/4 break. He slows his arm down on his changeup at 69-70 mph.

Simon Schaefer, 2B/SS, St. Xavier, 2015

5-foot-9, 160-pound build. From the infield he projects more as a second baseman. Limited range that throws from a short-¾ slot with top velocity of 72 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that stands tall in the box and starts open and gets back to even. Barrel gets in and out of the zone with good bat speed and uphill finish. Registered top exit velocity of 83 mph and ran 7.65-60 yard dash.

Spencer Helwig, C/3B, St. Xavier, 2015

6-foot, 180-pound average build. From behind the plate he shows good footwork and he has quick exchange. Throws from a high-¾ slot with 74 mph arm strength to second base. Right-handed hitter that stands tall and starts open and gets to even. Shows some strength in his swing and power to pull side. Had two hits in the game and top exit velocity of an impressive 91 mph and ran a 7.5-60 yard dash.

Tanner Corder, C/OF, John Glenn, 2015

6-foot, 170-pound strong build. From behind the plate he has ok footwork and pretty clean exchange and pop times between 2.26-2.30 and 76 mph arm strength from home-to-second.

Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Stands tall on his back side and uses a leg kick to load. Registered top exit velocity of 77 mph and ran a 7.39-60 yard dash.

Trenton Wood, OF/RHP, Troy, 2015

6-foot-1, 170-pound athletic frame. From the outfield he is aggressive with his routes and showcases a quick arm from a ¾ slot and top velocity of 85 mph. Right-handed hitter that stands tall with a little load and an uphill bat path. Hammered two doubles to left field. Registered top exit velocity of 77 mph and ran a 7.00-60 yard dash. On the mound the righty he has a quick tempo delivery with a high leg kick. His fastball from a ¾ slot sit 78-82 with a lot of life and arm side run. Breaking ball has good shape and depth at 64-66 mph. Throw a changeup with good arm speed at 71 mph. Struck out four out of eight hitter.

Tsolometes Elum, LHP/1B, Springboro, 2015

5-foot-11, 150-pound build. From first base he covers ground and has good range coming off the base. Throws from a ¾ slot with 63 mph arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter with has a good base and sits down in his legs. Uses a good load with a line drive stroke with two singles to right field. Registered top exit velocity of 75 mph and ran a 7.68-60 yard dash. On the mound the southpaw uses a slow tempo delivery and throws from a ¾ slot. Fastball sitting 74-76 with some arm side run. Dropped in a 60-61 mph breaking ball and uses a cutter at 64 mph. Had good arm speed on his changeup at 63-65 mph.

Will Bohlman, LHP, Centerville, 2015

6-foot, 150-pound lanky projectable frame. The southpaw has an easy, repeatable delivery with a long arm swing in the back. Throws from a ¾ slot with fastball sitting 75-76 mph. He can throw his breaking ball consistently for strikes with a big 1/7 break at 59-62 mph.

Zachary Kent, OF/SS, Newark Catholic, 2015

6-foot, 175-pound athletic body. From the outfield he comes through the baseball well and throws from a high-¾ slot with top velocity of 72 mph. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. High elbow with a short compact swing. Registered top exit velocity of 79 mph and ran 7.53-60 yard dash.

Zakery Parmer, SS/2B, Zanesville, 2015

5-foot-10, 150-pound frame. From the infield he shows decent range and a decent exchange. Throws from a short high-¾ slot with top velocity of 74 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts even and uses a line drive bat path, but pulls off a bit. Registered top exit velocity of 80 mph and ran a 7.3-60 yard dash.
