Adam DeLaet, IF, Lakota East HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-11, 155-pound infielder that likely projects as a second baseman at the next level. Shows good baseball sense. Runs a 7.16 and shows good arm strength (78 mph) from all angles. Displays smooth hands and feet with middle infield range. Hits from crouch with good bat speed into zone from chest hand trigger. Posses solid contact bat with some surprising pop for his size.

Adam Niemeyer, RHP/3B, Minster HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect with outstanding athletic ability. Potential two-way player at the next level. He did not pitch at this event, but was clocked 86-88 mph in the spring. Ran 7.14 60 yard-dash. Has upright power stance as a hitter with good bat speed into hitting zone from shoulder trigger. Shows future HR potential with solid lower body torque.

Ben Spitznagel, IF, Colerain HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-11, 165-pound prospect with high motor. Registered a 7.1 60-yard dash. Shows good middle infield skills with hands and feet. Reached a top velocity of 74 mph across the infield. Projects best as a second baseman. Uses a low hand trigger in swing. Shows a solid line drive type from the left side. Needs to continue to incorporate lower half to increase power.

Ben Schloss, IF/OF/RHP, Brush HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect with athletic body. Registered a 7.0 60-yard dash time. Defensively, he looks to be a corner infielder on next level with good hands and 77 mph velocity across the diamond. Reached 83 mph from the outfield. Offensively, he uses an upright, closed stance as a hitter. Needs to consistently square front side to get backside through. Also needs to enhance more lower body torque in finish. On the mound, he uses a high front side kick then comes through with 3/4 to low 3/4 arm slot. Has some deception in delivery. Fastball ranges 81-83 mph with some arm side run and sink action. Shows feel for 71-72 mph curveball.

Cassidy, C, Walsh Jesuit HS, Class of 2013

Posses "profile body" for catcher. Will get physically stronger in future. Has excellent raw skills. Runs 7.1 60 yard dash with 79 mph velocity from the crouch and pop times ranging from 1.98-2.05. Defensively, boxes and frames well but needs to continue improving lower lateral ability and receiving. Occasionally "stabs" at low pitches with glove. Offensively, he has a good shoulder hand trigger. He gets the bat head into zone but needs to enhance lower body torque in finish to promote power. Has lots of ceiling that needs to be reached. 

Chris Ramsey, OF, Hilliard Darby HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-10, 185-pound prospect with strong, solid frame. His left-handed bat will be best ticket on next level. Has squared stance with good shoulder hand trigger into zone. Has some bat speed and good finish in lower half. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash, but he was coming back from a sprained ankle. Reached a top velocity of 78 mph from the outfield.

Cory Wilder, RHP, Lima Shawnee HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-3, 200-pound right-handed pitching prospect. One of the top pitching prospects in the Midwest region. Tall, athletic body with some physical projection. Shows good delivery with some lower base. Gets arm extensions and backside hip pop finish in follow through. Ball comes out loose. Fastball explodes in zone with arm side run, ranging 88-91 mph (many 90's). Shows control and command of excellent two plane downward slider (75-76 mph). Outstanding arm action on changeup (80 mph), sells easily with arm speed.

Drew Nankivell, C/OF, Grove City HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect with excellent raw skills and plenty of athleticism. Registered a 6.83 60-yard dash. Good catching skills. Low body frame with lateral movement. Receives well and will improve pop times of 2.03-2.09 with improved glove to hand quickness. Offensively, he uses a power upright stance. Displays good bat speed into the zone from a shoulder trigger. Shows good finish to swing with lower body torque.

Garrett Koutsopoulos, RHP, Vermilion HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed pitching prospect with lanky body and some physical projection. Shows good arm extensions and releases through 3/4 slot. Needs to enhance use of lower body in backside follow through. Fastball fairly straight (80-82 mph). Has some feel of spinning downward tilt curveball (67-68 mph).

Griffin Weir, RHP/1B, Amherst Steele HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-4, 200-pound prospect with good athletic ability. Projects as a pitcher at the next level, but shows potential as a position player. On the mound, he uses an inward front kick with quick arm speed through upper 3/4 slot. Good lower body finish. He was coming back from injury, so he didn't throw any breaking balls. Arm looked effortless. Fastball ranged 86-89 mph with some late life. Split changeup showed downward sink at 76 mph. Showed feel for slurvy breaking ball in past outings. Looks to be back on track to being one of state's top 5 arms for 2013. Ran excellent 6.89 60-yard dash. Solid fielding skills around first base. Shows good feet and range. Upright stance as a hitter with good batspeed. Displays good lower body torque.

Jake Chetock, IF, Hilliard Darby HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-11, 185-pound athletic infielder. Likely projects as a second baseman at the next level. Runs excellent 6.74 60-yard dash. Displays good hands and feet. Accepts ball but arm strength suits him better for the right side. Has good hitting load and gets barrel in zone, but needs to incorporate better lower half in finish.

Jalen Washington, IF, Twinsburg HS, Class of 2013

6-foot, 165-pound athletic player with some middle infield skills. Hands and feet work well with some balance. Ran 7.19 60-yard dash with 80 mph velocity across the infield. Has balanced swing as a hitter with shoulder level trigger. Structure of swing is good but needs to be more patient in pitch recognition. Talented athlete with high ceiling. Also a talented football player.

Jeff Mockbee, LHP, Walsh Jesuit HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-3, 175-pound southpaw. Slender bodied hurler shows some physical projection. Shows some pitchability. Has good balance in delivery and achieves arm extension. Needs to enhance some backside hip pop in follow through. Easy 81-82 mph fastball with some life. Uses excellent arm action on changeup, ranging 74-75 mph with some fade. Has compact "nickel tilt" tilt on 68-69 mph curve.

Joe San Felippo, IF, Firelands HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-11, 175-pound infield prospect that shows good baseball sense and athleticism. Ran excellent 6.75 60-yard time with a max velocity of 74 mph across the infield. Shows good middle infield skills with good feet and range. Accepts ball well with throws from all angles. Has chest level hand load trigger and has flat plane in swing, but makes solid contact to all fields.

Joseph KeWeen, C, Defiance HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-11, 180-pound catching prospect. Should enhance physical strength in future to promote durability. Good defensive player. Boxes and frames well and shows lateral ability. Registered 77 mph velocity from the crouch with pop times of 2.01-2.03. Pop times should improve with enhanced glove to hand exchange. Good contact hitter from the left side with good hand load trigger and lower body torque.

Max Foley, IF, Moeller HS, Class of 2013

6-foot, 185-pound prospect with solid raw skills. Registered a 6.9 60-yard dash with solid arm strength (80 mph) from all angles. Good hands and feet. Projects to be an offensive second baseman or third baseman at the next level. Open stance, squares front side with good bat speed into zone. Uses shoulder-hand trigger and gets good lower half torque.

Max Gunn, 1B/RHP, Olentangy Liberty HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-3, 225-pound prospect with soft frame. Projects best as a first baseman with good footwork around the bag. Uses upright hitting stance. Gets barrel into zone well but needs improvement in lower half hip torque in finish. On the mound, the big bodied pitcher uses moderate arm speed through 3/4 slot. Has good front side and gets arm extension but needs to improve hip pop in follow through to promote more velocity. Fastball fairly straight ranging from 78-81 mph. Has downward spin on curve at 67-68 mph.

Miccoy Drzewiecki, 3B/RHP, St. Francis DeSales HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-6, 215-pound prospect that is still learning how to use his body. Registered a 7.2 60-yard dash. Shows good reaction skills at third base with a top velocity of 79 mph across the infield. Plays through the ball and uses good balance. Offensively, he uses a shoulder level hand trigger, but his swing has a tendency to get long. On the mound, the big bodied hurler uses moderate arm action through a upper 3/4 slot. Gets decent arm extension both front and back sides but needs to enhance more body balance in delivery and backside hip pop in follow through. Fastball was fairly straight at 80-82 mph. Showed spin and some downward tilt on 67 mph curve. Change up was fairly straight at 78 mph. 

Nick Meece, OF/C, Moeller HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash and showed a top velocity of 81 mph from the outfield. As a catcher, he shows a low frame and receives well, but needs to enhance lateral movement. Pop times 2.12-2.15 and top velocity of 72 mph from the crouch. Hits from closed stance. Triggers hands well from shoulder but needs to square front side to pitcher to get backside load through swing.

Robert Zeigler, RHP, Defiance HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-4, 210-pound right-handed pitcher prospect is a University of Kentucky verbal. Excellent body with physical projection. Excellent body balance with clean upper 3/4 arm slot. Shows pitchability and control. Has nice easy delivery and loose arm action. Gets good extension and backside finish. Fastball sits 86-89 mph with arm side run. Like many Defiance HS hurlers of the past, he has outstanding two-plane depth curve ball (75-77 mph) and locates well. One of Ohio's top 3 arms for 2013.

Ryan Addington, OF, Lakota West HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-9, 145-pound outfielder that runs a 6.94 60-yard dash. Reached a top velocity of 82 mph from the outfield. Shows range and athleticism that leads to versatility in the outfield. Hits from open stance with chest level trigger. Displays some flatness in bat path but makes contact to all fields.

Ryan Miller, OF, Pickerington North HS, Class of 2013

6-foot, 190-pound prospect with excellent foot speed with a 6.57 60-yard time. Defensively, shows some range but need to quicken transfer. Shows top velocity of 81 mph. As a hitter, shows some strong hands but has with some upper cut to his swing. Shows power potential.

Ryan Vargo, RHP, Clearview HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-3, 170-pound right-handed pitching prospect. Lanky body with some projection. Shows high front side leg kick with long backside arm extension. Has to maintain quick arm speed through 3/4 arm slot to maintain control. Gets good backside hip pop in follow through. Fastball ranges from 84-86 mph with some cut. Uses a downward spinning curve (75 mph).

Todd Goldberg, LHP, Beachwood HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-1, 195-pound southpaw. Stocky built hurler. Inward front side turn with arm extension on both back and front sides. Comes from upper 3/4 slot. Would like to see more lower hip pop in follow through. Fastball ranged 78-81 mph with with a pushed 64-65 mph changeup. Did not throw any breaking balls. Showed a drop in velocity in this showcase compared to the winter.

Trenton Emody, IF, Edison HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect that likely projects as a third baseman or second baseman at the next level. Displayed top velocity of 78 mph across the infield with decent hands. Needs to enhance footwork and balance. Solid hitter. Gets good hand load trigger and path to ball with good lower half torque in finish.

Tyler Sullivan, IF/CF, Holy Name HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect. A “dirtball” type player that will will do well on next level. Shows good baseball sense. Has middle infield skills with range, feet and hands. Might project better at next level as an offensive second baseman or third baseman. Runs 7.06 60 yard. Displays good hitting skills from both sides of the plate with more power from the left side. Triggers bat well with speed into zone and good lower half finish.

Ty Suntken, IF/RHP, Wauseon HS, Class of 2013

5-foot-10, 160-pound two-way prospect. Active player that could play a number of positions in the infield at the next level. Hands work well. Registered a 7.24 60-yard dash. At the plate, he uses a chest level hand trigger which creates some flatness in the plane of his swing. Strong kid with a line drive type swing. On the mound, he uses a compact delivery with moderate arm speed through a 3/4 slot. Needs to be more consistent with backside hip pop in follow through. Fastball ranges 82-85 mph with slurvy type curveball (65-66 mph) and some fade action on change-up (71-72 mph) Needs to develop consistency in off-speed pitches.

Zach Cook, RHP, Milford HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect with strong, physical frame. Quick arm speed through upper 3/4 arm slot. Gets good extensions on both sides and has solid hip pop in backside follow through finish. Good mound presence. Fastball shows good running action, ranging 86-88 mph. Shows good feel on solid two-plane curve ball with depth, ranging 70-71 mph. Changeup is thrown near fastball arm action and shows fade at 76 mph.

Zach Farmer, LHP, Piketon HS, Class of 2013

6-foot-3, 180-pound southpaw is one of the top pitchers in the state and nation. Body shows good physical projection. Has mound presence and pitchability. Uses clean delivery. Gets gets arm extension on both front and backside. Uses quick arm speed through 3/4 slot. Loose, effortless arm with backside hip pop finish. Fastball has cut action, ranging 88-90 mph. Uses plus two-plane downward spin curveball with depth (72-73 mph) and excellent arm action and arm speed on his changeup (76-77 mph).
