Mater Academy vs. Creekside

Mater Academy  (21-8) defeats Creekside (26-5) 4-3 to advance to the 6A state championship game. For the Knights, Matt Weidenbach received his first loss of the year going 5 1/3 innings and allowing four runs.  For the Lions,  Michael Mediavilla  (Miami) threw a complete game to send Mater Academy into the championship game and will face Winter Haven May 22^nd at 7:30.

Winter Haven vs. Venice

Winter Haven defeated Venice 3-0 to seal their spot in the championship game. The Blue Devils  had a three run fourth inning which was enough for Trenton Gantt who threw a 2 hit shutout. The Blue Devils match up against Mater Academy for the 6A State Crown.
