Team Georgia 14u 1: Game Three Recap

Georgia got off to a hot start in Game 3 against Arizona putting up six in the bottom of the first resulting in a 6-2 score after 1 due to multiple walks and a Matthew Franatovich infield single that drove in two. Hudson Chadwick got the start for Georgia and pitched two strong innings limiting Arizona to only two runs with a solid FB/CH combo. Blake Chupp came in for two innings of relief and competed despite not having his best stuff. Lee Holt also came in for an inning of relief and showed an impressive FB/SL arsenal as he moved through the Arizona hitters quickly. In the bottom of the 4th, Matthew Franatovich led-off with a big time triple to the left-center field gap. Brock Holcombe came up and knocked an RBI single to opposite field driving in Franatovich. Jake Brannon walked it off for Georgia as he hit a hard single into right field that drove in three for the walk-off win. Look for team Georgia to continue their hot streak against Colorado in their game tonight.
