COLUMBUS, OH – The Division III State Semifinals between Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy and Orrville turned into the Cameron Varga experience as CHCA defeats Orrville 3-0.

Varga (pictured right) threw just the 12th no-hitter inCameron Varga vs Orrville state final four history, which was also the first no-hitter thrown at Huntington Park in its history. Varga also set the Division III record for most strikeouts at the state final four with 15.

Oh and Varga also got drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays later in the night with the 60ths overall pick in the second round. A day that Varga will never forget.

Orrville's combination of Wes Stauffer and Stuart Schley (West Point commit) kept the Red Riders in the game as they combined to give up just three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six.

Offensively, CHCA only had four hits, two of which came from gifted sophomore Chase Murray (Georgia Tech commit) both being triples.

CHCA got its runs in the third and sixth.

In the third, Daniel Vezdos led the inning off with a single up the middle. Jon Edelmann looked to lay down a sacrifice bunt, but Orrville made a nice play getting the lead runner.

After a groundout and walk, Chase Murray came to the plate.

Murray roped a two run triple to right field, putting CHCA up 2-0.

The Eagles added an insurance run in the sixth as Murray tripled again and scored on a sacrifice fly by Kyle Davis.
