OXFORD, AL - The Top Prospect Games (Upperclass) was held on Tuesday, June 13th at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, AL. This event was an invite-only event that consisted of some of the top prospects from the 2024 and 2025 classes. These players went through a pro-style workout and took batting practice using Trackman and Blast Motion to record hitting metrics. Pitchers were able to throw in simulated outings facing hitters during gameplay and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Tuesday.

Continuing our post-event coverage for this event, we take a look at all of the infielders from last Tuesday. Keep checking back over the next few days as we will wrap up our post event coverage by taking a look at all pitchers from the event.

Charlie Cassingham, Grissom  (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-8, 150-pounds. Proportional strength throughout.
Hit: LHH. Balanced, athletic stance. Well connected swing, slightly uphill bat path.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 78.1 mph. 321’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 75.00 mph. INF - 83.00 mph.  C- short arm action, quick release INF- Longer slot, carry on throws to 1B
Defense: 1.91-1.97 pop times. C- Loose hips, moves well behind the plate INF- moves well laterally, solid glove work.

Cason Page, Central Phenix City (AL), 2024
Positional Profile: 2B/SS
Body: 5-8, 150-pounds. Athletic frame with room for added size, strength.
Hit: RHH. Balanced athletic swing, short and quick. Compact swing with a middle of the field approach.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 82.3 mph. 291’ max distance.
Arm: RH.  INF - 78.00 mph.  Shorter, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Fields everything out front, fundamental with the glove.
Run: 7.41 runner in the 60.

Gabe Evers, Madison Academy (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 5-11, 155-pounds. Well-proportioned frame.
Hit: RHH. Slightly closed  Inside out bat path with some carry off the bat.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 81.5 mph. 287’ max distance.
Arm: RH.  INF - 79.00 mph.  Shorter action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Nice feet, works well through the ball.
Run: 7.30 runner in the 60.

Israel Navarro, Hazel Green  (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 6-0, 155-pounds. Leaner frame, plenty of room for development.
Hit: RHH. Tall athletic stance. Quick hands, short to ball.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 76.4 mph. 328’ max distance.
Arm: RH.  INF - 84.00 mph.  Whippy arm action from a high 3/4 slot, shows carry.
Defense: Athletic , advanced footwork. Glove works well out front.
Run: 6.95 runner in the 60. Athletic runner.

Dylan Rainey, Southside  (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-1, 160-pounds. Long, lean frame. Can add plenty of size and strength.
Hit: RHH. Slightly closed stance, showed an inside-out path.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 73.3 mph. 257’ max distance.
Arm: RH.  INF - 79.00 mph.  Longer slot, over-the-top with carry.
Defense: Plays a little high but the glove works well.

Joshua Burrell Jr, Grissom (AL), 2025

Hit: RHH. Slightly closed. Short quick hand path.

Defense: Moves well laterally, presents the glove well out front.

Hit: LHH. Tall balanced stance, quick hands. Stays through contact well with extension through contact.

Defense: Works to the backhand side well, fundamental with the glove.

Hit: RHH. Tall balanced stance, quiet hands. Quick short bat path.

Arm: RH.  INF - 86.00 mph.  Shorter, high 3/4 slot. 
Defense: Nice feet, works well to the ball in the glove. Natural on the backhand.

Eli Long, Lawrence County  (AL), 2024

Body: 6-6, 270-pounds. Physical frame with strength throughout.
Hit: RHH. Open stance. Shows a ton of juice from an elevated bat path.

Defense: Stays low to the ground, picked balls well in the dirt.
