Player of the Week nominations are submitted by High School coaches across South Carolina each week.  Along with the nominations, Prep Baseball Report is diving into box scores, talking to coaches and scouts, and attending as many games as possible.

PBR's staff sifts through the information sent in and seen by our scouts to determine the PBR Player of the Week every Tuesday.  You can see a full list of players off to a hot start in Diamond Notes, a collection of notes, stats, and highlights from the past week, published every Wednesday during the season.

Pitcher of the Week - March 27 - April 1, 2023

AJ Cammarota , LHP/1B, Blue Ridge High School, 2024

 

This uncommitted arm got the ball against a region foe.  Against Broome HS, the left hander hander threw another gem on the season, going 6.1 innings giving up 2 hits, 2 walk and struck out 15 batters.  So far on the season he has thrown29.2 IP, 52 K, 11 BB, 8 H, 4 R with a record of 5-1.

This Stetson commit shinned on the baseball field last week.  Foster was unbelievable this week as he went  8/11 on the week hitting .727 BA with  4 extra base hits and 4 RBI along with  3 stolen bases.  2 saves on 3 game series vs Dutch Fork
