Athletic stance with the weight pushed slightly into the back side. Holds the back elbow even with the shoulders and presets the barrel slightly behind the head. Toe tap timing mechanism. Stride foot lands with external rotation. Load pushes the hands deep over the back foot and raises the bat to a near vertical position. Hands work clean through the inside of the ball. Good extension. Good first step quickness helps the defense play up. Played through ground balls with active footwork and confident hands.
