Ryan Eierman got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed one run over four innings. He struck out five, walked three and scattered three hits. Eierman also went 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI double. Jack Hughes and Connor Gurnik each had two hits for the Redhawks. Bradley Harrison went 2-for-3 with a double in the losing effort.

Tyler Mettetal and Brendan Joyce hit home runs for the North Stars.

No. 7 Waterloo 5, Parkway South 3
Ben Mauer
allowed two hits in four scoreless innings of relief and Aaron Laskowski had three hits for Waterloo.

No. 8 Brother Rice 2, St. Xavier (KY) 0
Jack Duzek
and Andrew Dyke had RBI singles in the top of the eighth as Brother Rice finally broke the scoreless tie. Jack Nelligan allowed just one hit in seven innings and Ryan Kutt pitched a perfect eighth for the save.

High Point Christian Academy (NC) 1, No. 23 Marist 0
High Point scored an unearned run off Marist starter Colin Pfotenhauer in the fourth inning to hand Marist its first loss of the season in the championship game of the Mingo Bay Classic in South Carolina.

Glenwood 12, Williamsville 4
Cole Hembrough
and Karson Aherin drove in three runs apiece and Glenwood scored in all six innings in the home victory.

Normal West 6, Harlem 2
Caleb Jacobs
hit a home run and Nick Watson picked up the win for West.

Teutopolis 9, Salem 6
John Kreke
drove in three runs and Kyle Smith went 3-for-4 and scored twice for the Wooden Shoes.

Geneseo 6, Rock Falls 5
Keaton Rice’s
three-run double in the bottom of the seventh turned a 5-3 deficit into a dramatic victory for Geneseo.

Peoria Heights 5, Princeville 4
Riley Gregory
had two hits and two stolen bases and Peoria Heights scored two unearned runs in the top of the seventh for its first lead of the game.

Tri-Valley 13, Johnsburg 1
Illinois State recruit Jack Butler struck out six in three innings and smacked two triples in the victory. Josh Dickman homered and had four RBI.

Metamora 3, Greenbrier Christian 2
Sam Brace
allowed one earned run on five hits in the complete-game victory and Geremy Guerrero broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. Sam Brace had a two-run single for Metamora.

Neuqua Valley 11, Covington 1
Will Drake
had a three-run triple, Kevin Ringlein had three hits and Neuqua scored 10 runs in the first two innings.

Plainfield Central 6, Morris 0
Sultan Solebo
pitched a no-hitter with seven strikeouts and one walk

Lincoln-Way Central 7, Shepard 3
Nick Podgorny
hit a two-run homer and Ryan McWilliams had three hits for Lincoln-Way Central. Kevin Carmody had three hits and three RBI for Shepard.

Waubonsie Valley 4, Downers Grove North 2
Will Isdell
drove in two runs and pitched three scoreless innings of relief to earn the win.

Naperville Central 5, Glenbard East 4
Kyle Bennington
had an RBI single in the second and a two-run single in the third as Naperville Central did all of its scoring in the first three innings. Aaron Szczepanski pitched 2⅔ perfect innings to save the win for Mike Mlotek.

Crystal Lake South 9, Mt. Vernon 6
Noah Tyrrell
had three hits and Brad Quinlan went 2-for-2 and scored three runs for the Gators.

Reed-Custer 6, East Robertson (TN) 4
Neil O’Donnell
broke a 4-4 tie with an RBI single in the eighth inning. Travis Schoonover scored four runs in the victory

pitched a no-hitter with nine strikeouts and three walks.

Will Herbert
went 2-for-2 with two RBI and DePaul broke it open with seven in the second.
