Huntley 6, No. 1 Jacobs 5|
Hitless in his first four at-bats, Ryan McGran doubled in the bottom of the ninth inning and scored on Noah Konie’s single as Huntley completed a two-game sweep. Cam Reed pitched three scoreless innings to win in relief. Trevor Ranallo went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs for the Red Raiders.

Ryan Kutt
pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts and did not allow an earned run in the victory. Andrew Dyke had two hits for the Crusaders. Liam McKeough pitched a complete game for Loyola.

No. 5 St. Rita 4, No. 9 Providence 3
Pinch-hitter Christian Pearl singled home Ray Hansen with the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Matt Verdun picked up the win with two perfect innings in relief of Steven Washilewski, who allowed three unearned runs in seven innings.

No. 8 St. Charles North 12, Bartlett 0
Brendan Joyce
went 3-for-4 with a home run, Kyle Novotney doubled and tripled and seven of the North Stars’ 15 hits went for extra bases. Ryan Litavecz struck out six and allowed two hits in four innings.

No. 12 Lincoln-Way North 8, Bolingbrook 1
Ryan Anderson
hit a home run and drove in three and Ben Troike had two hits and two RBI for the Phoenix.

No. 13 Normal Community 3, Danville 2
J.D. Villafuerte’s
bunt single in the top of the sixth brought home the go-ahead run for the Ironmen.

Mike Shephard
allowed four hits in six scoreless innings, striking out four and walking none. Addison Fugitt, Jake Gilhaus and Jackson Bronke had two RBI apiece for the Ironmen.

No. 15 Naperville Central 2, Waubonsie Valley 0
Tyler Briner
allowed four hits in six scoreless innings and Michael Nerger broke the scoreless tie with a two-run single in the top of the seventh. Liam Heath struck out two in a perfect seventh for the save. James Neville struck out 10 in 5⅔ innings of four-hit ball for Waubonsie.

Beau Buchanan
went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run and Gabe Soria drove in two for Central. 

No. 16 St. Francis 16, Marmion 10
St. Francis jumped on Marmion early with 10 runs in the first inning. Marmion cut the lead to 10-7 after scoring four runs in the top of the fourth inning. Matthew Henkel, Brandon McPherson and Chase Stanke had RBI singles in the frame.

St. Francis answered with run more runs of their own in the bottom of the fifth. Brett Whelton, Zach Crescenzo and Connor Quinn each contributed with RBI singles in the inning. Crescenzo came on in seventh inning for St. Francis, not allowing a run and striking out two in his one inning of relief work.

Max Ciofi
hit a home run and Marcus Wright had two hits and two RBI for St. Patrick. Tom Kunzer went the distance for the win. Joe Muscolini homered for Nazaeth.

Anthony Viviano
went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs for Nazareth. Kyle Kane added two hits and had one of the Roadrunners’ six stolen bases.

No. 19 Hinsdale South 5, Willowbrook 4
Daniel Mazzei
went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs for the Hornets. Frank Basic allowed two runs in six innings to earn the win.

Zach Duffy’s
RBI double in the top of the 10th inning was the difference. Alex Briscolino and Zach Wenkus pitched a combined 4⅓ innings of no-hit relief.

George Manikas
pitched a two-hitter and struck out 13 with just one walk for the Hilltoppers. Jack Surin and Jack Howard drove in the JCA runs.

hit a walk-off home run in the eighth inning for the Hilltoppers. Jared Jones pitched all eight innings, allowing an unearned run on two hits while striking out four and walking none.

Jack Small
went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Lemont scored two runs on balks in its four-run sixth. Dom Connolly and Joe Kelley had two hits apiece for Lemont.

allowed four hits in 6⅓ innings and Ryan Molini had a two-run double in the first inning for the Knights.

Jim Rishmond went 4-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI for East. Three Griffins pitchers combined to hold Lemont to two hits in the five-inning victory.

An error on Liam Evans’ bunt allowed the tying and winning runs to score in the bottom of the seventh. Connor Pett went 2-for-2 with two RBI for the Corsairs.

Marian Central 6, Marist 1
Dan Rochotte hit a grand slam in the first inning and Kolton Rominski struck out 11 in six innings of three-hit ball for Marian. Rominski also went 3-for-4.

had two hits and two RBI and Elijah Haynes and Justin Janas added two RBI apiece for Marist.

Matt Mulhearn pitched a three-hitter with five strikeouts and no walks and Nick Bledsoe had two hits for Marian.

Pinch-hitter A.J. Anderson and Alex Gutter had back-to-back RBI doubles as Marian scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to erase St. Viator’s 3-1 lead.

pitched a four-hitter with five strikeouts and one walk and did not allow an earned run in the complete-game victory.

James Gargano
had three hits and Eric Nelson drive in five runs for Neuqua.

Griffin Stankiewicz
pitched five innings of no-hit ball in relief to allow Boylan to recover from a 7-0 first-inning deficit. Sam Rinaldo went 3-for-3 and Max Maney had two doubles for Boylan. Matthew Lamm had two hits and two RBI for Palatine.

went 3-for-3 and doubled home Austin Brown with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh.

Ethan Hajdukovic
tripled and scored the winning runon Joe Smaga’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh.

Ben Cornelius
pitched a three-hitter and Nick Sanders had an RBI single in the sixth inning. Cornelius struck out six and walked two in the victory. Schaumburg starter Justin Schoefernacker allowed one hit in five innings.

Downers Grove South 3, Addison Trail 0
Zack Jones
allowed two hits in seven innings, striking out seven and walking one. Danny Oriente had two hits and two RBI and Corey Vondra tripled and scored. Jack Villa struck out the side in the seventh for the save.

went 3-for-3, including a two-run single in the bottom of the sixth for the Cyclones. Sam Raes allowed two hits in five innings and winning pitcher Brian Zanger struck out four in two innings.

Patrick Gaul
went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run for East. Izaiah Hitt went 2-for-2 in the victory.

allowed five hits in six innings while striking out seven and walking none to lead the Lancers to their seventh straight victory. Jordan Yates had a two-run triple.

doubled home Ryan Hastings with the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth. Tyler Dallio got the win with 2 ⅔ scoreless innings in relief of Gabe Montalvo.

doubled twice, Kevin Carmody had two hits and two stolen bases and Rob Marinec had two RBI and drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly.

Sophomore Will McManaman pitched his fourth straight complete game and Eric Steiner had two hits for St. Ignatius.

went 4-for-4, scored four runs and drove in two and Ryan Davila had three hits and scored three runs for the Blue Devils.

went 2-for-2 with a double and Will Michalski picked up the five-inning victory.

Robin Kim
drove in four runs and Luke Annen scored three for the Wolves.

Connor Harrell
went 3-for-4 with two triples, two RBI and three runs. Robbie Masini had three RBI.

Carson Balcer
had a two-run single as Dundee-Crown jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the top of the first. Nick Musielewicz had two hits and two RBI in the victory.

Brendon Reifsteck
doubled twice and had three RBI for the Foxes. Jon Jungr allowed a run on four hits in six innings for the win.

Nick Barrett
doubled home Zach Heck with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh as North completed a comeback from a 6-0 deficit.
