No. 1 Mount Carmel 5, Loyola 3
Zion Pettigrew delivered a tie-breaking RBI double and scored on Mariano Scalise’s pinch single as the Caravan scored twice in the bottom in the sixth. Bobby Seymour had two hits and two RBI and Alek Thomas tripled, singled and scored two runs for Mount Carmel.

No. 2 Brother Rice 6, No. 14 St. Francis 4
Mike Massey hit a home run as Brother Rice scored three runs in the fifth inning to take a 5-3 lead. Andrew Dyke doubled twice, scored two runs and had an RBI for the Crusaders. Jack Nelligan pitched two perfect innings to win it in relief.

No. 3 St. Rita 14, Marmion 3
Colan Fitzgerald had two hits and four RBI and Luke Bechina struck out 10 and allowed five hits in six innings for the win. Cal Greenfield added two hits and two RBI for St. Rita.

Geneva 3, No. 5 St. Charles North 2
Jack Wassel’s sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth broke a 2-2 tie as the Vikings snapped St. Charles North’s 14-game winning streak. Wassel also had a sacrifice fly in the third as Geneva scored twice to take a 2-0 lead. North forced extra innings with RBI singles by Zach Fick and Brendan Joyce. Matt SImpson got the win in relief of Trevor Wilcox, who allowed four hits in 6⅓.

Lincoln-Way East 7, No. 9 Sandburg 4
Andrew Garcia went 2-for-4 with two RBI and Brandon Bauer had two hits and scored two runs for Sandburg. Hunter Smith and Brett Melby added two hits apiece for the Griffins. Ryan O’Reilly allowed three unearned runs in 4 2/3 for the win and Alonzo White struck out for in 2 ⅓ for the save.

No. 11 Lincoln-Way North 13, Thornwood 0
James Nebelski pitched a five-inning perfect game with nine strikeouts. Jake Arthur went 3-for-3 and the Phoenix pounded out 18 hits.

No. 12 Normal Community 14, Lincoln 4
Zack Peckmann and Nolan Arjono hit home runs for the Ironmen. Peckmann also tripled and Arjono had five RBI. Addison Fugitt had two hits and scored three runs in the victory.

No. 13 Naperville Central 1, Wheaton Warrenville South 0
Ryan Eiermann, Tyler Brinker and Liam Heath combined on a four-hit shutout and the Redhawks prevailed despite managing just two hits off Wheaton South’s Caleb Larson, who struck out nine in seven innings. Connor Gurnik led off the game with a walk and scored the game’s only run on a groundout.

Oak Park 5, No. 15 Hinsdale South 4
Evan Bell went 2-for-3 with an RBI double in the five-run first inning for OPRF. Sophomore Brandon Barette allowed one earned run in four innings for the win, Roy Iverson allowed a run on two hits in three innings for the save.

East Peoria 4, No. 17 Sacred Heart-Griffin 3
Colin Dearing’s two-run double brought home the tying and winning runs as East Peoria rallied for four runs in the bottom of the seventh to pull off the upset. Grant Hagedorn had an RBI single in the rally. Cal Elvers had three hits for Sacred Heart-Griffin.

No. 20 Waterloo 11, Centralia 1
Erik Kaiser pitched a no-hitter with eight strikeouts and four walks in the five-inning victory. Cole Milam homered, doubled and drove in three.

Elk Grove 4, Conant 1
Christian Camacho struck out 18 in a complete-game victory, allowing five hits and three walks. Camacho added an RBI single and A.J. Navarro went 3-for-3 with two RBI for the Grenadiers.

Barrington 2, Buffalo Grove 1
Levi Palomo struck out seven in six innings of two-hit ball and the Broncos manufactured an unearned run in the bottom of the eighth to win it. Jack Vaselaney allowed two unearned runs on five hits for Buffalo Grove.

Fremd 5, Hersey 1
Eric Bennes pitched a no-hitter with six strikeouts and two walks for the Vikings. Ethan Hajdukovich had two hits for Fremd.

Palatine 2, Rolling Meadows 1
Ryan Anderson pitched all nine innings, allowing an unearned run on five hits while striking out nine. Mark Dillon allowed an unearned run on five hits in seven innings for Rolling Meadows.

Prospect 11, Hoffman Estates 1
Richie Baczek went 4-for-5 with three RBI and Grant Whitebloom homered for the Knights. Pasquale Atteo went the distance for the win.

St. Joseph-Ogden 1, Champaign Centennial 0
Colton Carr pitched a three-hitter and improved to 8-0 when Mason Coon hit a home run in the bottom of the seventh.

Richwoods 10, Pekin 4
Alex Peters went 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and five RBI in the victory.

Metamora 4, Olympia 1
Sam Brace struck out seven in a complete-game victory, scattering six hits and four walks. Tyler Guerrero had an RBI double for Metamora.

Normal West 7, Normal University 6
Peyton Dillingham’s RBI single in the top of the eighth broke a 6-6 tie. Nick Watson allowed one hit in three innings of relief to get the win. Watson also had two hits and drove in the tying run with a fielder’s choice in the two-run seventh.

Belleville East 6, Freeburg 5
Drew Millas went 3-for-4 with a two-run single in the three-run top of the seventh for Belleville East.

Reed-Custer 3, Lisle 2
Jordan Walden’s RBI single in the bottom of the 12th ended the marathon. Brent Headrick struck out eight and allowed one hit in 5 ⅔ innings of relief to earn the win.

Kewanee 1, Morrison 0
Colton Johnson pitched a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts and three walks for Kewanee. Joey Brackmeyer pitched a four-hitter for Morrison.

Naperville North 11, Glenbard North 7
Eric Rodriguez had two hits and two RBI and Brennan Simek and Matt Schwartz drove in two rns apiece for the Huskies.

Lake Park 6, Wheaton North 2
Michael Nielsen went 2-for-4 with three RBI for the Lancers. Jim McDonald went the distance, allowing an earned run on eight hits in the victory.

Hinsdale Central 7, York 6
Andrew Zapka went 2-for-4 with five RBI, including a bases-clearing double in the third and a walk-off two-run single in the seventh.

Bishop McNamara 3, Montini 2
Dylan Anderson struck out 12 in an eight-inning complete game and Nick Marion took one for the team in the bottom of the eighth, getting hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to drive in the winning run.

Warren 2, Wauconda 0
Ricky Lee’s two-run homer in the fourth inning was the difference. Reliever Ryan Davila got out of a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the sixth and struck out the side in the seventh to save the win for Evan Hill. Drake Berman allowed two unearned runs on three hits while striking out 10 in six innings for Wauconda.

Libertyville 9, Vernon Hills 6
Ben Kimpler went 3-for-3 with a home run and a triple, Daniel Marks added three hits and three runs and Jackson Peterson had three RBI in the victory.

Lake Zurich 2, Antioch 1
Matt Swanson allowed a run on three hits in five innings and Ben Cornelius recorded the final six outs for the save.

Grant 3, Zion-Benton 2
Ben Kusiak went 2-for-3 with two RBI and Aidan Earl struck out seven in 6 1/3 innings for the win. Bryan Libby got the final two outs for the save.

Crystal Lake South 3, Grayslake Central 2
Keeton Ryza allowed an earned run on four hits in 5 ⅔ and Andrew Engelking got the final four outs to save the win for the Gators. Cam Geisser’s RBI double broke a 2-2 tie in the fifth.

Huntley 11, McHenry 2
Jeff Heinrich doubled twice and scored three runs and Huntley scored nine times in the top of the first.

Prairie Ridge 15, Marengo 5
Jacob Carpenter and Jon Tieman had three RBI each for the Wolves.

Lane 4, Taft 3
Johnny Colombo’s RBI single in the bottom of the eighth won it. Brett Wicklund allowed one hit in six innings while striking out nine for Lane.

Payton 1, Clemente 0
Zac Veitch struck out 12 in a two-hitter and survived seven walks to record the shutout. He also doubled and scored the game’s only run on an error in the third inning.

Burlington Central 8, Johnsburg 6
David Lauber’s three-run double in the seventh tied it and Dakota Sciabaras gave Burlington Central the lead with an RBI single in the eighth.

Boylan 11, Rockford Guilford 1
Carlos Arteaga went 4-for-4 with two RBI. Jimmy Paris drove in three runs and Adam Rehfeldt allowed two hits in five innings for Boylan.

Lockport 3, Stagg 2
Jake Suchor won it for Lockport with a pinch-RBI single in the bottom of the seventh. Ryan Gabriel allowed one earned run on seven hits in the victory. Nick Strysik had two hits and scored two runs.

Homewood-Flossmoor 2, Joliet Central 1
Frank LePore allowed six hits and no walks while striking out four. Nicholas McAllister had two hits for H-F.

Lincoln-Way Central 2, Lincoln-Way West 0
Ian Duke pitched a two-hitter to out-duel West’s Gabe Montalvo. Ryan McWilliams and Vinny Schroeder drove in the Central runs.

Oswego 4, Romeoville 2
Carter Turnquist allowed an earned run on five hits while striking out eight in the complete-game victory. Turnquist also drove in two runs.

Plainfield Central 13, Plainfield 8
Matt Buneta had three hits and three RBI and Kyle Cockrell went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs for Central. Justin Willner added three hits in the victory.

Plainfield Central 7, T.F. North 5
Cameron Cercone had a two-run double in the top of the eighth to break a 5-5 tie.

Bartlett 8, Glenbard East 4
Mike Prang had a solo home run and a two-run double in Bartlett’s seven-run fourth inning.

St. Charles East 12, Larkin 3
Kyle Tilges went 3-for-3 with two RBI for the Saints.

Streamwood 7, Elgin 0
Colin Caminitti pitched a three-hitter with five strikeouts and no walks for Streamwood. Tim Crom homered, doubled and drove in three runs.

Deerfield 3, Glenbrook North 2
Brad Pineless delivered a walk-off single in the ninth inning for Deerfield. Ryan Pfutzenreuter allowed two runs on five hits in eight innings and Ben Edelstein pitched a perfect ninth for the win.

Glenwood 5, Granite City 0
Jacob Maton pitched a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts and no walks and went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run.

Glenwood 8, Granite City 7
Brendan Hostetler went 2-for-5 with three RBI, including a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth as Glenwood rallied to complete the sweep.

Herscher 4, Seneca 3
Ty Stuart won it for Herscher with an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh. Matt Alsip went the distance for the win, allowing one earned run on six hits with six strikeouts and no walks.

Glenbard South 4, Elmwood Park 2
Dan Opem pitched a four-hitter and Tim Marks had two hits for Glenbard South.
