No. 1 Brother Rice 6, No. 10 Mount Carmel 5
Ryan Kutt’s
two-run homer in the top of the seventh plated the tying and go-ahead runs as Brother Rice won its 29th consecutive game. Kutt also struck out three in two scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win.

No. 3 Plainfield North 7, No. 4 Lincoln-Way North 4
Josh Garner
answered Lincoln-Way North’s three-run first inning with a three-run homer in the bottom of the first and Tyler Garrity added a two-run homer in the third for Plainfield North. Ben Troike homered for Plainfield North.

St. Francis 9, No. 7 Providence 5
Brett Whelton
went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and three runs for St. Francis. Foster Heise tripled and drove in three in the victory.

No. 8 St. Rita 5, No. 9 St. Laurence 4
Mateo Zunica
went 4-for-4, and Danny Gleaves (2-for-4, two RBI) scored the winning run on a wild throw on Zunica’s bunt single in the bottom of the seventh. Cal Greenfield’s RBI single in the seventh tied it at 4.

No. 16 Oak Park 13, Proviso West 2
Evan Bell
and Dominick Gerace had three RBI apiece and five OPRF pitchers combined for 12 strikeouts in the five-inning victory.

No. 17 Lemont 7, Hillcrest 3
Marcus Ambroziak
had a two-run single and a two-run double and Rob Walik struck out six in two innings for Lemont.

No. 20 St. Joseph-Ogden 5, Danville 4
Mason Coon
allowed two earned runs on five hits in the complete-game victory. Aaron Schluter doubled, singled and drove in two runs and Colton Carr added two hits for St. Joseph.

Romeoville 6, No. 21 Plainfield South 5
Zach Swearingen’s
single plated the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the seventh as Romeoville pulled off the upset in walk-off fashion. Julio Cajigas went 3-for-3 with three RBI for Romeoville.

Mahomet-Seymour 5, No. 22 Normal Community 4
Ryan Harrison
singled home Nick McHale with the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh. Alex Jackson struck out 11 while allowing one earned run on four hits in the complete-game victory.

No. 24 Marian Catholic 8, Crete-Monee 7
Nick Bledsoe
had a two-run double and Wyell Woods drew a bases-loaded walk as Marian Catholic scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to complete a comeback from a 7-3 deficit.

No. 25 Niles Notre Dame 6, St. Viator 2
Paul Bergstrom
pitched four innings of two-hit ball and Matt Segovia and Dylan Hyde had two hits apiece for the Dons.

Marist 4, Nazareth 2
Winning pitcher Brian Wood homered and Matt Donahue and John Carmody had two hits apiece for Marist. Wood allowed an earned run in 5⅓ innings and Jake Powers got the final five outs for the save.

Joliet Catholic 7, Benet 2
Drake Fellows
and Jack Naal had two doubles apiece and Greg Zeigler had two hits and two RBI for JCA.

Carmel 14, St. Patrick 6
Matt Collins
belted a grand slam and Cooper Johnson added a three-run homer for the Corsairs. Austin Ehren had four hits in the victory.

Waubonsie Valley 3, Wheaton North 1
Quinton Zielke
struck out seven and scattered eight hits in the complete-game victory. Luke Gregorio had two hits for Waubonsie.

Naperville North 9, Wheaton Warrenville South 7
Jack Ginzkey’s
two-run single in the top of the seventh plated the tying and go-ahead runs as the Huskies rallied for four in the sixth and three in the seventh. Matt Schwartz had three hits and pitched a perfect seventh for the save.

Lake Park 3, Naperville Central 1
Jim McDonald
struck out eight and scattered eight hits in six innings to pick up the win. A.J. Ackerley had two of Lake Park’s three hits in the victory.

Glenbard North 9, Neuqua Valley 2
Nick Frawley
and Anthony Sotille had three RBI apiece and Zach Bachara had three hits for the Panthers. Mark Cerabona scattered eight hits in the complete-game victory.

Metea Valley 8, Glenbard South 4
Jack Feeley
hit a home run and Ashton Creal went 2-for-2 in the victory.

Warren 5, Mundelein 0
Ryan Davila
pitched a one-hitter and hit a three-run homer for the Blue Devils. Davila struck out six and walked one in the shutout.

Libertyville 10, Lake Forest 6
Brian Murphy
went 3-for-4 and Daniel Marks doubled twice and drove in two runs for LIbertyville.

Stevenson 7, Lake Zurich 3
Henry Marchese
went 2-for-2 and had one of Stevenson’s five doubles in the victory. Christian Dutler added two hits and Jack Cappalli had two RBI for the Patriots.

St. Ignatius 6, De La Salle 3
Geno Callahan
hit a home run and sophomore Will McManaman went the distance for his eighth victory of the season as the Wolfpack clinched at least a share of the CCL White title.

Lockport 14, Andrew 8
Gavin Lovesky
hit a three-run homer and Anthony Cocco and Stephen Hill had two RBI apiece for the Porters.

Jacobs 5, Cary-Grove 4
Daniel Salomon
went 3-for-4 with two RBI, including a go-ahead double in the top of the seventh as Jacobs rallied from a 4-0 deficit. Cameron Wilson added three hits and Stevie Krueger had two for the Golden Eagles.

McHenry 15, Crystal Lake South 7
Justin Celeski
and Bobby Miller hit home runs and Matt Spooner went 3-for-4 in the victory.

Huntley 3, Dundee-Crown 2
The Red Raiders managed just three hits off Dundee-Crown’s Matt Wiechmann but prevailed on an unearned run in the bottom of the seventh. Adam Smylie struck out eight in six innings of five-hit ball for Huntley.

Conant 7, Hersey 5
Jack Reiger
went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a key two-run double in the top of the seventh for Conant. Tim Fauth also went deep in the victory.

Barrington 9, Elk Grove 2
Zach Balogh
went 3-for-4 with three RBI and Jake Zyzda pitched five scoreless innings of two-hit ball for the Broncos.

Prospect 8, Fremd 6
Trevor Engquist
went 4-for-4 with a home run and five RBI in the victory.

Buffalo Grove 1, Schaumburg 0
Jack Vaselaney
scattered six hits and Tyler Rundquist went 2-for-2 with an RBI single in the fourth inning for the Bison.

Palatine 11, Wheeling 1
Chris Refka
struck out 13 in six innings and Danny Schneberger and Matthew Lamm homered for the Pirates.

pitched a three-hitter in the five-inning victory.

Tom Jones
and Tim Ohlwein had three RBI apiece for Lakes.

Korey Soetart
pitched a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and one walk for Wauconda. Jake Grobelny had four hits in the victory.

Woodstock North 13, Grayslake Central 3
Jake Busse
went 4-for-4 and Jake Fiorito drove in three runs for North.

Tommy Gertner
struck out seven and walked none in the five-hit shutout and Jordan Kaplan went 2-for-4 with four RBI in the six-inning victory.

Ben Brecht
pitched a two-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks in the six-inning victory.

Deerfield 9, Maine East 1
Sam Fradin
homered and Mason DuMonthier had three hits and Brad Pineless went 2-for-2 with two RBI for Deerfield.

Willowbrook 3, Downers Grove South 2
Trevor Jalosynski
and Matt Molitor had RBI singles as Willowbrook answered Downers Grove South’s run in the top of the eighth with two in the bottom of the inning. Matt Garbacz pitched all eight innings to earn the win, allowing three hits while striking out eight and walking three.

Glenbard West 5, Hinsdale Central 3
Zach Lutz
and Matt Shoub had three hits apiece for the Hilltoppers. Justin O’Neal struck out eight in six innings and Arno Curtis pitched a perfect seventh for the save.

Lyons 7, Downers Grove North 3
Justin Williams
went 2-for-4 with two RBI and Kyle Kohn drove in two runs for the Lions.

Oak Lawn 4, Argo 2
John Roberts
struck out eight in 5 ⅔ innings of two-hit ball and Marc Virruso homered for Oak Lawn.

Yorkville 11, Plano 3
Winning pitcher Cameron Von Boekel went 3-for-4 with two RBI and the Foxes scored 10 in the fifth to put it away.

Morton 10, Washington 1
Vinni Massaglia
pitched six innings of one-hit ball with seven strikeouts and two walks and went 3-for-4 as the Potters pounded out 16 hits.

Geneseo 3, Rock Island 1
Eric Westerlund
allowed a run on six hits while striking out six in 6⅓  innings and Bo Lindstrom retired both batters he faced for the save.

Streamwood 10, Larkin 0
Adam Sojda
pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts in the six-inning victory. Jake Painter had two hits and two RBI for the Sabres.

Triad 3, Alton 1
Nick Beeler
scattered six hits in the complete-game victory and Gavin Gibbs doubled twice as Triad made the most of its four hits.

Rochester 6, Lincoln 3
Noah Skinner
had two hits and two RBI as the Rockets rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win in eight innings.
