Nazareth (20-11) won in walk-off fashion at the Priory in River Forest on Wednesday. After Oak Park had rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh, the Roadrunners would win the game when Shane Gipson would dance home with the game-winner on a wild pitch. Matt Flach led the Roadrunner attack with two singles and two RBI.

St. Viator (13-15-1) routed the host Lancers behind a four-hit shutout from Aaron Tres. Matt Darling had a 3-for-3 day with a pair of RBI while Ben Dickey chipped in with three hits, including a double and an RBI.

Crystal Lake South 3, St. Charles North 2 (8 innings)

Crystal Lake South (17-5-3) ousted top-seeded St. Charles North 3-2 in eight thrilling innings on Wednesday. The Top Gator was John Constantino, who’s RBI single drove home the eventual Gator game-winner in the top of the eighth. Gator winning pitcher Michael Avella fired two hitless innings of relief at the Northstars to pick up the win on the mound for CLS.
