James Gargano went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBI and Eric Nelson hit a grand slam for the undefeated Wildcats. Austin Waeghe pitched a three-hitter in the five-inning victory.

No. 7 Mount Carmel 11, St. Francis 8
Alek Thomas hit a three-run homer, Bobby Seymour had two hits and Zion Pettigrew drove in three runs for the Caravan. Cameron Hupe struck out 10 in five innings for the win.  

No. 17 Sacred Heart-Griffin 11, Pleasant Plains 8
Garrett Vance singled, doubled, tripled and drove home three runs and Will Elvers also went 3-for-4 with three RBI for the Cyclones. Logan Tate added three hits in the victory.

Warren 12, Waukegan 0
Cal Poremba went 3-for-3 and scored three runs and Parker Reinhard hit a three-run homer for the Blue Devils.

Stevenson 4, Lake Zurich 1
Matthew Mittelmark allowed an unearned run on three hits while striking out six in 5⅓ for the Patriots. Jack Housinger drove in a pair for Stevenson.

Tuscola 11, Maroa-Forsyth 4
Brandon Vonlanken hit two homers and drove in five runs for Tuscola. Andrew Erickson and Cale Sementi also went deep in the victory.

Westville 9, Salt Fork 3
Conner Holden hit a three-run homer and Trey Bryant went 2-for-2 and scored three runs in the victory.

Triad 4, Waterloo 3
Mack Langdon pitched a complete game and singled home the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. He allowed three runs on five hits while striking out five and walking one.

Gibault Catholic 6, Alton 3
Blake Metzger went 3-for-3 with three RBI in the victory.
