Unsigned Senior Spotlight: Pierce Hardacker, SS/RHP, Park Tudor

Pierce HardackerToday's Unsigned Senior Spotlight is on Park Tudor High School SS/RHP, Pierce Hardacker.  Hardacker is currently ranked No. 48 in Indiana's 2014 class, and was a participant at last February's Preseason All State event in Indianapolis.

Hardacker is 5-foot-11, 165 pounds and runs a 7.19 60.  He's a solid player up the middle defensively with some arm strength at 82 mph.  He possesses soft hands and plays through the baseball well with fluid footwork.  

Offensively he displays good eye-hand coordination and consistently barrels up the baseball.  

On the mound, the RHP throws a lot of strikes.  His arm is quick and loose and throws from a long 3/4 arm slot.  Hardacker shows good rhythm throughout his delivery and creates a good downward plane.  His breaking ball shows an 11/5 shape and breaks late in the zone. His fastball sits 81-83, but we saw him this past spring up to 85 mph on several pitches.
