Buzz On Durfee
His athleticism is high-level and seems to be getting better the more we see him. He's a sub-7 runner with great lateral quickness, tracks baseball from the OF with ease. Every time we turn around we see his name in the paper - always seems to contribute to the team. We like his ability to repeat his swing, stays athletic and shows signs of bat-speed and gap-power. Member of the Eastern NY team for the PBR New York Games July 7-9, look for Durfee to really impress the coaches in attendance.

Scouting Report
+ Durfee stands 5-foot-11, 170-pounds and has solidly built frame. Hitting he uses a relaxed approach, loads back on the pitch for timing, small stride. Powers his hands to the ball, short path, barrel stays sightly inclined through the zone giving signs of some power potential. He uses some extension, could be longer, through contact with a shoulder height finish. He shows nice techniques with balance through contact. Next-level bat. 83 mph exit velocity. He ran a 6.91 60 yard dash.
