Prep Baseball Alabama Introduces the Yellowhammer State Games

As the spring is now in full-swing and the summer looming in just a few months, it's time to announce a brand-new marquee event hosted in the state of Alabama. The Yellowhammer State Games is an invite-only event hosted at Sand Mountain Park, a state-of-the-art facility with four turf baseball fields in Albertville, AL. The State Games is dedicated to bringing the top prospects in Alabama spanning the 2025-2028 graduating classes all to one place in a two-day event hosted on Tuesday, June 18th and Wednesday, June 19th. TOP PLAYERS IN ALABAMA
We're inviting the top players in Alabama, spanning grad classes 2025-2028. Our mission is to bring the highest level talent in the state to one location for this two-way event. Rosters and teams will be composed of players from each grad class, setting the table to see who are, pound-for-pound, the state's top prospects.
TWO-DAY EVENT
All position players will showcase their talents in a pro-style workout in the morning of day one of the event, Tuesday, June 18th. Following the workout, players will branch off into teams (selected by the Prep Baseball staff) and begin gameplay. The following day, we will finish up the event with additional games for a total of two games between the two days. Lineups, pitching rotations and rosters will be constructed by Prep Baseball Alabama staff. All players in attendance will also be recieiving additional Prep Baseball gear for attending the State Games, including a swag bag with various items inside, multiple jerseys, and much more. We're also expecting to bring multiple vendors, etc. to the park to create an enjoyable environment and experience for players and parents.
RECRUITING CALENDAR
The 2024 Division 1 Baseball Recruiting Calender is something all prospects who aspire to play at the next level should be aware about. The Yellowhammer State Games aligns perfectly with the recruiting calendar, as June 18th is the first day back following a dead period. College coaches will be attendance at this event in addition to the coverage we will be posting out on our social media accounts. For those who have experienced the Future Games, the State Games is going to be just like that event inside the state of Alabama.
TRYOUT FOR THE FUTURE GAMES
All summer events serve as a tryout for our three most heavily-recruited events of the summer, the Prep Baseball Future and Jr. Future Games, Yellowhammer State Games, and the Prep Baseball All-American Game. The Future and Jr. Future Games is the nation's largest recruiting event that takes place July 24-28 at LakePoint Sports in Emerson, GA. The Yellowhammer State Games will be an important event to attend in order to be selected to the Future Games.
