The 2024 Idaho high school baseball season is finally here and as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Idaho.

Questionnaires were sent out to all Idaho High School coaches to provide insight on their programs. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Idaho. With the season already underway, our staff will look to provide some insight on how team's season have started, as well as their outlook the rest of the way.

Burley enters the year following a 2023 season that saw them finish .500 or better in nearly a decade and the Bobcats will look to continue to trending upwards. The team is off to a 1-4 start but that number can be deceiving as they took on some quality programs this past weekend in Utah, as well a tight 5-4 loss against a good Sugar Salem team. Burley's conference play gets underway in less than a week as they take on Minico on March 26th. Below, we'll take a look at some of the names to know in the Burley program.
