The 2024 Idaho high school baseball season is finally here and as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Idaho.

Questionnaires were sent out to all Idaho High School coaches to provide insight on their programs. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Idaho. With the season already underway, our staff will look to provide some insight on how team's season have started, as well as their outlook the rest of the way.

The Owyhee Storm enter the season following a second straight 5A State Championship as they went on a dominant run last season with a 23-4 highlighted by a 5-2 win over Lake City in the title game. Owyhee has put together a strong start to the season so far as they're already 3-0 with a win over Ridgevue and a pair of wins over Bonneville. The arms have impressed early on for the Storm as they've only surrendered two runs in their first three games. The Storm will face their first big test this coming Friday as they take on Mountain View in a highly anticipated rematch of last year's 5A State Championship Semi-Final.
