The 2024 Idaho high school baseball season is finally here and as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Idaho.

Questionnaires were sent out to all Idaho High School coaches to provide insight on their programs. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Idaho. With the season already underway, our staff will look to provide some insight on how team's season have started, as well as their outlook the rest of the way.

The Mountain Home Tigers are currently 1-2 to start the season with a 6-2 win over Kimberly but dropped a pair against Canyon Ridge with one of them needing extra innings. The Tigers will get their first big test on the day of this publication as they host Sugar Salem. The team has high hopes for the 2024 season as they navigate through their 4A Great Basin Conference schedule with a balanced roster that features plenty of returning talent, but also some fresh faces that will look to make their mark on the program.
