THURSDAY, MARCH 14TH

+ RHP/INF Drew Davis (Sumrall, 2027) toed the rubber on Wednesday looking for his 18th high school career win. He's just a freshman! Davis was 14-0 a year ago after an amazing season which saw his ERA settle in under 1 (0.88). He pitches like an upperclassmen and regardless of the outcome on this particular day he has a bright future on the bump and as a position player. Wednesday the 5-11, 160 pound righty worked his fastball up to 89 mph and uses out to both sides of the plate well. His breaking ball has tions of 12/6 depth and already had spectacular feel for the pitch. With district play approaching he and teammate Leo Odom will be a difficult assignment for opposing offenses.
