11 Newcomers in the Top 150 of the 2020 Rankings

Brandon Hall
North Carolina Director of Scouting

We continue to dive into the updated NC Class of 2020 Rankings with a look at several players making their first appearance on the list.  PBR scouts work throughout the year to see players from across the Tarheel state.  During the fall season, PBR was at games, workouts, and practices, as well as running PBR events.

As our scouting staff is able to get a feel for a player and put a grade on that player’s skill set, they are added to the rankings pool.  Through a blind process, players are ranked according to their player grade and a confidence rating in the grade.  The updated rankings added 44 new players to the rankings list while expanding to the top 175 players in the state.

In the rankings released we took a look at newcomers inside the top 100.  Below we take a look at eleven players making their debut in the rankings list, ranked from 100 - 150.
