Olympic and Independence in a Wild One Opening Night

Olympic – 7                       Independence – 11

A wild game saw 26 total hits, along with 7 total errors as Olympic visited Independence to open the 2022 season.  In the 2nd inning, 22 total hitters came to the plate with 13 runs crossing the plate.  At the end of the 2nd, Independence had taken a 8-7 lead.  They would not relinquish this lead as relief pitcher Tyler Spicer kept Olympic off balance in the win.
