The Prep Baseball Nevada High School Player of the Week highlights the best performance for a Nevada High School player from the previous week.  Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week.  Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.

With our first Player of the Week honours of 2024, Palo Verde's infielder Drew Kaplan takes it home with as he flashed his power potential all week long.

The College of Southern Nevada commit couldn't have a hotter start to the 2024 season as he flashed his bat-to-ball skills with a .773 average and the power was on display as well with an eye-popping five home runs. Palo Verde picked up a pair of big wins on the week over Bishop Gorman and Bishop Manogue, also falling 6-4 to Arbor View, but his performance was no doubt a driving force in the teams early success. In the losing effort to Arbor View, Kaplan carried the offense with a pair of home runs.
