SC 2020 Most Viewed Profiles - #7 Dion Brown

PBR continues to be a go-to source of information for college coaches and pro scouts. The in depth player profiles with advanced data, stats, video, analysis and more provide an in depth look at players across the state as well as the nation. Scouting Report

7/29/20 - Brown is a lean prospect with tons of upside. He showed well playing multiple INF positions for Team Carolinas in the JR Future Games.. Rangy defender with clean actions and quick hands. Advanced approach at the plate with line drive contact and a good understanding of the zone. Toolsy player plays the game hard with a high motor. Athletic on the mound, ran the FB up to 80. Located in the lower half of the zone to both sides of the plate. Offspeed showed feel. Flashed a sharp slider that will be a big time pitch as he matures. Velo will continue to rise and athleticism make for a high ceiling on the mound.
