Throughout the 2024 season Prep Baseball Scouts will be working to track and see as many games and players as possible. Each week the scouting staff will post game coverage, scout blog, player video and more.  Pitcher and Player of the Week nominations are submitted by High School coaches across South Carolina each week.  Along with the nominations, Prep Baseball is diving into box scores, talking to coaches and scouts, and attending as many games as possible.

Prep Baseball staff sifts through the information sent in and seen by our scouts to determine the Prep Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week every Tuesday.  You can see a full list of players off to a hot start in Diamond Notes, a collection of notes, stats, and highlights from the past week, published every Wednesday during the season.

Through all the work to cover high school baseball in South Carolina, our scouting staff will be naming a player and pitcher of the week, each week of the high school regular season. Along with all the games Prep Baseball Scouts will see, cover, and examine, high school coaches will also be able to pass along information on how their players performed.  On Thursday of each week, THIS FORM, will be sent to the high school coaches in South Carolina.  All players that are submitted will be considered for Player and Pitcher of the Week.

March 11 - March 16, 2024 Pitcher of the Week

Bradley Anderson, RHP, Fox Ceek HS, 2025

This uncommitted arm and Former Future Gamer got the ball this past Tuesday.  This pitcher threw a gem on the night, throwing 6.2 innings of no hit baseball while collecting 16 strikeouts!

March 11 - March 16, 2024 Player of the Week

Weston Mize, 2B, Crescent High School, 2024

This player shinned on the baseball field last week.  Mize was unbelievable this week as he hit .600 AVG, 6H, 3 1B, 1 2B, 2 HR, 5 RBI, 4R
He also had a go ahead 3 run HR against Seneca and a HR against TL Hanna.
