Sachem East vs Lindenhurst: Game Recap

Sachem East 4 - Lindehurst 0

Sachem East took on Lindenhurst Bull dogs Thursday afternoon in the third game of their three games set.  Sachem East looking to go for the sweep Thursday sent Tim Quinn to the mound.  Quinn a senior at Sachem East over powered the Lindenhurst Bulldogs as Sachem took the third game with a 4-0 win.

In the first inning Joe Russo got on base with a single.  Followed up by Nick Tedesco as he rips a base hit.  Runners on first and second as Anthony Siroka steps up and hits a double off the wall to make it 2-0 Sachem.  Quinn heads into the bottom half of the inning and shuts Lindy down.  In the second inning Dan Okeefe gets on with a single.  Followed up by junior Center Fielders Anthony Scheller with another base hit.  Runners advance later in the inning to second and third and up steps Joe Russo already with a hit in the game smacks a single up the middle scoring Scheller and Okeefe.  4-0 Sachem East.  That’s all Sachem Easts Senior Tim Quinn needed as he cruised the rest of the game allowing 3 hits and 2 walks and 4 strike outs in his complete game shut out only throwing 74 pitches.  Total dominance as the senior shut the Lindenhurst Bulldogs down the whole game.  Quinn also recorded 3 hits in the game as well.

Sachem East will be playing Sachem North Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.  Wednesday’s game will be at Ducks Stadium.  This is going to be an exciting game as both teams are playing for bragging rights.  Sachem East 5-4 and Sachem North 7-2, I’m sure this is going to be an exciting game.
