Tuesday April 25^th was a busy day across the state. The larger classifications are wrapping up their seasons as other classifications are starting post season play with district tournaments this week.

In the 7A West: Fayetteville completed their sweep of Springdale on Tuesday. This gives them a 1.5 game lead on Van Buren and 2 game lead over Har-Ber and Bentonville. Game two of the Van Buren vs Har-Ber Series is critical. A Van Buren win they will have a 1 game lead for second place and only trail Fayetteville by won game heading into their final conference match up vs Fayetteville. A Har-ber win will put a 3 way tie for second place between, Bentonville, Har-Ber and Van Buren going into the final week. Bentonville holds the tie breaker of Har-Ber as they swept the Wildcats in the regular season.

In the 7A Central: Cabot continues their impressive run as they move to 11-0 in conference play. In most cases they would have clinched by now. However North Little Rock, and Bryant are going to make the Panthers sweat down to the wire, as they both continue to win games. If Cabot defeats Bryant Thursday night they will clinch a share of conference championship. The second spot has 3 teams with a path to secure it with Bryant, Conway, and North Little Rock all still very much alive for the first round bye.

So far so good in district tournament action, with very little to no surprises as teams move forward into the regional bid. Lonoke impressed with a 18-1 over Baptist Prep who had been playing well. Look for the 7-4A to have some intriguing matchups when the weather clears out and the tournament begins.
