Week 11 Pitcher of the Week

Each week, PBR Arkansas will be selecting a Pitcher and Hitter of the week. We are constantly evaluating players on a daily basis across the state searching for top notch performances by individuals throughout each week. Senior pitcher Kenley Anderson was 3-0 (one win in relief) in the playoffs in the last week including a 10-1 win in the regional finals against Genoa Central on May 5th pitching 7 innings allowing 5 hits 1 run on 1 walk and 3 strike outs using 67 pitches. In the first round of the state tournament he pitched a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the win when Horatio scored to win in the bottom of the ninth.
In the state semi-finals Anderson threw another 67 pitch complete game allowing 2 hits, 0 runs, 0 BB, and 3 K’s.
