Each week, PBR Arkansas will be selecting a Pitcher and Hitter of the week. We are constantly evaluating players on a daily basis across the state searching for top notch performances by individuals throughout each week. Landon Brown RHP / Shiloh Christian, AR / 2018Rankings StateRank: 13 / POS: 8
Uncommitted, Landon threw a complete game shutout against conference opponent Gravette. He had 15 strikeouts and only allowed 1 hit on 2 walks. His FB ranged from 88-91 and his 12-6 CB was 71-74. Landon continues to get stronger each outing and is one of the reasons the Saints will be tough to beat down the stretch.

Hitter of the week
For the first time in our awards season the Hitter of the Week goes to a freshman. Gavin Guiltner from Salem brings home the award for Hitter of the Week. He went 9-16 on the week with 2 doubles and a grand slam. He also drove in 13 runs and scored 6 times as well. Gavin's season average of .600 and OPS of over 1400 shows that Gavin is a 2021 hitter that is quickly making a name for himself.
