The 2018 spring high school season in Arizona generated some incredible individual moments and performances throughout all corners of the state. As the spring high school season comes to a close, Prep Baseball Report is excited to announce one player who emerged ahead of the competition at all levels in the state of Alabama. This player has been selected not only for their outstanding statistical numbers, but also for their overall effect on their high school program.

Statistics
Liberatore, a senior left-handed pitcher from Mountain Ridge HS, produced a strong statistical season while helping lead his team to the 6A state finals.
The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Wade signed with the University of Arizona and was recently selected by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 1st round of the MLB draft.
Liberatore's all-around performance, as well as the impact he has had on Mountain Ridge High School, has earned him the 2018 Prep Baseball Report Arizona State Player of the Year honors.
Liberatore has been selected by Arizona Scouting Director Jordon Banfield and the team of area scouts who covered the high school baseball season throughout the spring.
