Prep Baseball Arizona: Pitcher of the Week (March 4-10)

The Prep Baseball Arizona High School Pitcher of the Week highlights the best performance for an Arizona High School pitcher from the previous week. Each week, High School coaches are emailed and asked to send in their nominees for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week. If you wish to nominate someone for Player or Pitcher of the Week, please email Arizona Scouting Director, Shea Sbranti.
To begin each week, Prep Baseball Arizona will announce it's Pitcher and Player of the Week, alongside our Power 25 Rankings Update, from the previous Monday-Sunday games. '24 LHP/OF Cam Caminiti (Saguaro), Arizona's top-ranked draft prospect, takes home the first Pitcher of the Week honor this year following his 16-punchouts in just five innings.

2024 LHP Cam Caminiti is one of the highest-profile HS draft prospects Arizona has seen in many years and the LSU commit couldn't have had a better start to his season. On Wednesday, the Saguaro product churned in a record-book performane as he worked five no-hit innings with a pair of eye-popping statistics... an immaculate inning, as well as a 4-strikeout inning. In total, he picked every single out via the strikeout and even picked up an additional with a dropped third-strike bringing his total up to 16 over five innings. Beyond his work on the mound, he produced on the offensive side with two hits, including a triple, and two RBI.
