The Prep Baseball Arizona High School Player of the Week highlights the best performance for an Arizona High School positional player from the previous week.  Each week, High School coaches are emailed and asked to send in their nominees for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week.  If you wish to nominate someone for Player or Pitcher of the Week, please email Arizona Scouting Director, Shea Sbranti.

To begin each week, Prep Baseball Arizona will announce it's Player of the Week, alongside our Power 25 Rankings Update, from the previous Monday-Sunday games. '24 INF/RHP Justice Yanke (Mountain View) takes home this week's Player of the Week honors following his complete game shutout over Cibola on Thursday.

2025 INF/RHP Justice Yanke (Uncommitted) got the start on Thursday for the Mountain View Toros and went the distance, working seven shutout innings en route to 1-0 victory over Cibola. In the seven innings, Yanke allowed no runs, four hits, no walks and struck out three. Yanke has been a major bright spot on the mound this year for the Toros as this was his second straight seven-inning complete game shutout. Just last week, the uncommitted right-hander shutout Eastmark in a 6-0 win. Mountain View currently has five wins on the season and Yanke has pitched in three of those.
