PBR colorado POWER 25 rankings

April 30,  2021

PBR COLORADO  is excited to release our 1st  Power 25 HS Team Rankings of the 2021 season.  After 14 months without Colorado high school baseball and a late national start to our season, Colorado players, coaches, families and schools are READY!!

The rankings include teams from all classifications playing baseball, 1A-5A.  These early rankings are compiled with the help from our Colorado coaches from all levels from all around the state.  PBR Colorado has used valued  PBR Staff, Scouts, Past and Current HS Coaches and Past and Current Club Coaches as resources.    We also lean on our knowledge of the players we have seen from our events and tournaments from this past year. These rankings stay with the theme of PBR and are prospect driven.  We strive to bring state and national recognition for our Colorado players.  As the season progresses, the rankings will be more strongly determined by wins and losses and the opponents.  Rankings will be updated on a weekly basis or as warranted.

Colorado’s Power 25 starts with Regis Jesuit as our #1 ranked team.  The “defending” state champ is loaded again and led by RHP, 2021, Alec Willis and 2022, SS, Dallas Macias.  Quality depth puts Regis Jesuit in a great position with shortened CHSAA season.  Valor Christian may have the most pitching depth and secure our #2 ranking.  An experienced, 2021, RHP/SS, Radek Birholz leads a team full of collegiate prospects.  Chatfield pulls the 3 spot with a pair of power RHP’s to lean.  2021, RHP, Quinton Low and 2022, RHP Christian Foutch could be the best pair in the state.  Our Top 5 rounds out with always in the hunt #4 Rocky Mountain and tough minded #5 Mountain Vista team.  4A Pueblo West has our highest 4A ranking at #17 and 3A Eaton is #18.
