Offensively, Carter shows a solid approach with excellent strike zone command and plate discipline.  His short controlled stroke allows him to hit balls hard to all fields and to handle the fastball as well as the off speed pitches, balance at the plate is excellent.  Carter shows the ability to drive balls in the gap and to consistently barrel up balls and create line drives.

Defensively, he shows good actions and an above average arm and the athleticism and versatility to play all over the field which will be of value to him at the next level.
