Colorado 2025 Class Rankings: Spring Update

The spring 2024 rankings update consists of 125 players from the Colorado 2025 class. This group of prospects includes 16 college commits in total (all of which are committed to Division I programs), high-end uncommitted talent at the top, plenty of actively developing athletes, and a deep talent pool overall. When creating our rankings, we consider various factors, such as skills, physical abilities, potential, projection, and on-field performance as well.
As the CHSAA spring season begins, we are excited to see how these players develop and are constantly looking for new talent within our state. We understand that each player progresses at their own pace, and we will update the rankings throughout the year. It's important to remember that each player has their journey, and the ultimate goal should always be to strive for continuous improvement.

Fabian Gaeta LHP / OF / Prairie View, CO / 2025The southpaw continues to dominate on the mound thanks to already racking up 29 strikeouts in 18 innings to go along with only one walk, one earned run, and just 9 hits allowed this spring. Gaeta is a unique lefty with a high IVB (induced vertical break) fastball around 20 IVB, and in the upper 80s in MPH. The junior has some of the best pitchability in the state along with swing and miss stuff, spin, and deception. A former Future Gamer and a top uncommitted arm to watch closely.

Ross Frank RHP / C / Rocky Mountain, CO / 2025Frank comes with some two-way upside and plenty of tools. The catcher produced a 93 mph top exit-velocity during our 2024 All-State event with a 1.84 top pop time, and a 78 mph catcher velocity. We also saw Frank get up to 87 mph on the mound with quality off-speeds. Frank hit .333 with a HR, and a 1.017 OPS last spring (47 PAs) to go with his 53.2 IP, 65 Ks, and a 2.48 ERA on the mound. Strong uncommitted follow.

Adam Hayes RHP / 3B / Berthoud , CO / 2025Hayes has chucked a 7 inning no-hitter already this spring and could have been a perfect game if it wasn't for one hit by pitch. The junior threw 68 of his 95 pitches for strikes in this game and was rewarded with 15 strikeouts to go along with zero hits allowed, zero runs allowed, and no walks allowed. Now after his second outing this season, Hayes is up to 14 innings with no earned runs allowed, 26 strikeouts, just one hit allowed, and six walks. The junior continues to impress and should be a consistent riser in 2024.

Ben Blasco OF / SS / Valor Christian, CO / 2025Blasco is off to a hot start to begin 2024 thanks to going 4 for 7 with 2 triples, and two walks. The junior is actively developing and comes with some quality all-around tools and plus speed.

Romani Perez SS / RHP / Prairie View, CO / 2025Hitting .476 through 8 games this spring with 3 doubles and a triple. Toolsy shortstop with a true hit tool.
