Kansas Summer Open: Blast Motion and Trackman Hitters Leaderboard

Prep Baseball Report Kansas hosted the Kansas Summer Open on July 20th at Wichita State University with players coming from the 2022 class through the 2025 class. 53 players from across the state of Kansas as well as players coming in from Missouri, Oklahoma, and as far as California attended the event going through a pro-style workout. Today we take a look at the metrics leaders from the data collected by Trackman and Blast Motion. You can click on any of the names to access the player's personal profile.

The top exit speed captured by Trackman belonged to 2023 Jaxon Bowles at 94.67 mph. Kale Conway also posted an impressive 94.55 mph exit velocity in the 2023 class. Connor Earlywine posted the top exit velo in the 2022 class at 93.31 mph. Hank Welu led the ranks in the 24 class at 91.72 mph and Hayes Allen posted the top exit velo at 90.16 mph.

Braden Horn posted the top bat speed metrics from the event out of the 2023 class at an impressive 76.20 mph. Drew Wardell led the way in the 2022 class at 74.80 mph. The top bat speed metrics in the 2024 class belonged to Daegen Vinduska at 70.90 mph and Hayes Allen in the 2025 class at 64.80 mph.

Carter Prather had the top hand speed metrics from the event and in the 2023 class at 26.20 mph. Andrew Roth had the top hand speed metric at 24.10 mph in the 2022 class. Austin Selenke had the top hand speed metrics in the 2024 class at 23 mph with Isaac Lager topping the charts at 20.90 mph in the 2025 class.

Gabe Rodriguez posted an eye popping 32.20 g's of rotational acceleration leading the event and 2023 class. Kale Conway posted an impressive 29.3 g's of acceleration as well. Brady Unrein posted the high rotational acceleration in the 2024 class at 28.7 g's. Jaron Brown led the way in the 2022 class at 24.30 g's of rotational force and Nolan Fevurly led the way in the 2025 class at 11.9 g's.
