With the fall season in high gear and the impending Unsigned Senior Showcase this upcoming Sunday. Prep Baseball Report Louisiana has created an All-Uncommitted team spanning the 2016, 2017, and 2018 classes.

Catcher

+ Keelyn Johnson, C, Pineville HS(2016)
A 5-foot-10, 165-pound catcher with a lean, athletic frame. Shows outstanding defensive ability behind the plate with loose, athletic hips, advanced catch and throw skills, with loose arm, above average arm strength and carry on throws. Shows a consistent 1.95 on throws down to second base. Right-handed hitter with an athletic setup, looseness in the barrel and gap to gap approach.

Infield

+ Johnny Johnson, SS, Runnels HS(2016)
A 5-foot-10, 160-pound infielder with a compact, strong frame and fast twitch actions. Quality overall athlete that runs the 60 yard dash in 6.7 seconds. Quality defender with arm strength, soft hands, but third base type feet. Right-handed hitter with short, compact stroke, quality path with surprising strength at contact. He consistently finds the barrel with occasional pull power.

+ Will Ryan, 3B, Neville HS(2017)
A 6-foot-2, 179-pound shortstop and right-handed pitcher with an athletic, strong frame. Solid overall athlete that ran a 7.03 laser timed 60 yard dash. Quality defender with soft hands, quick footwork, quick and clean exchange with a short arm action into a mid-3/4 arm slot that shows accuracy and produced an 87 mph positional velocity. Profiles well at third base showing an advanced tool set at the hot corner. Right-handed hitter with an athletic setup, smooth load, slight leg kick, explosive lower half, excellent balance that showed a level bat path, line-drive, gap to gap approach and fluid rhythm in batting practice and produced an exit velocity of 93 mph.

+ Jordin Labruzza, 2B, Brother Martin HS(2018)
A 5-foot-9, 175-pound infielder with a small, physical, athletic frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange, playing through balls well. Short arm action into a high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 78 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, smooth load, leg kick, explosive lower half and solid balance. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 85 mph. Also posted a 7.2 60 yard dash.

+ Taylor Young, INF, West Monroe HS(2017)
A 5-foot-9, 160-pound infielder and outfielder with a small, athletic frame. Solid defender from both the outfield and infield that shows soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange, and accuracy on throws that produced a 75 mph positional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup with a smooth load, no stride, explosive lower half, excellent balance, and solid bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 82 mph. Also displays a compact, short stroke with fluid rhythm and line-drive approach.

Outfield

+ Nick Webre, OF, Teurlings Catholic HS(2017)
A 5-foot-10, 185-pound outfielder with a strong, athletic frame. Left-handed hitter that hits from an athletic setup with smooth load, short stride, explosive lower half, and excellent balance. Shows a solid bat path with outstanding extension, gap to gap approach with power to the pull side and fluid rhythm that produced an exit velocity of 89 mph. Quality defensive outfielder with soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange, and arm strength with carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 81 mph.

+ Bradley Yaeger, OF, St. Paul’s HS(2016)
A 6-foot, 190-pound outfielder with a lean, strong, athletic frame. Quality athlete that posted a 7.05 60 yard dash. Quality defender that showed fluid footwork, clean exchange and athleticism with a loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 82 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, smooth load, short stride, explosive lower half, and excellent balance. Gap to gap type hitter with a short bat path, developing rhythm and explosive bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 91 mph.

+ Preston Faulkner, OF, Live Oak HS(2017)
A 6-foot, 194-pound outfielder with a strong, physical, athletic frame. Right-handed hitter with a tall, balanced setup, smooth load, leg kick and solid balance throughout the swing. Line-drive type hitter with a gap to gap approach, fluid rhythm throughout that showed exceptional bat speed recording a 91 mph exit velocity. Defensively he shows soft hands, fluid footwork, a quick and clean exchange, played through balls nicely and produced an 86 mph positional velocity from the outfield with a long arm action into a high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws.

Pitchers

+ Brock Batty, LHP, Denham Springs HS(2017)
A 6-foot-1, 175-pound Junior with a medium, athletic frame. Left-handed pitcher with a clean, repeatable delivery landing square, in-line with an athletic finish. Displays smooth rhythm throughout with long, loose arm action with quick arm speed into a ¾ release and easy effort. Fastball sits 83-85 mph with slight sink and arm side run. Shows a feel for a curveball with 1/7 shape, tight spin and sharp, late break at 68-72 mph. As well, he displays a quality change up with fastball arm speed, deception and late, hard fade action at 71-73 mph. Also shows a slider that has sharp, late break with deception but lacks in depth at times making it closer to a cutter at 68-70 mph.

+ Ma’Khail Hilliard, RHP, Central(BR) HS(2017)
A 6-foot, 145-pound right-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic, and projectable frame. Long, loose clean arm action with quick arm speed out of a high-3/4 release with easy effort. Displays smooth rhythm with level shoulders with in-line direction finishing athletic. Fastball sat 84-86 mph with late life and command. Flashed a solid slider with sharp, late action with some depth at 76-77 mph. Also showed outstanding feel for changeup with fastball arm speed and slight fade action at 75-76 mph.

+ Aaron George, RHP, Ouachita Christian HS(2016)
A 6-foot-5, 220-pound right-handed pitcher with a large, strong, physically mature frame. A long arm action with slight stiffness into a ¾ release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Displays solid rhythm, lands square, with in-line direction and level shoulders. Fastball sat 89-91 mph with heavy sink, outstanding angle, deception and was commanded well. Flashed above average breaking ball with 10/4 shape with fastball arm speed, solid tilt and sharp, late break at 77-80 mph. Showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed at 80-81 mph.

+ Rafe Schindler, RHP, Chalmette HS(2017)
A 6-foot-4, 180-pound right-handed pitcher a long, lean, athletic frame. Clean, athletic delivery with in-line direction, slight stab in arm swing and quick arm speed into a high-3/4 release. Fastball sits 84-86 mph with solid angle, life and command in two outings. Flashes an advanced feel for slider with tight spin, depth and deception at 76-77 mph. Commands two pitches extremely well, works with great tempo, and shows advanced mound presence.
