Most Viewed Profiles: July 2022

Reece Roussel 2B / OF / Brother Martin, LA / 2025

The uncommitted prospect out of Brother Martin, was a 2019 Little League World Series hero, for Eastbank Little League, as they won the 2019 Little League World Series.

Ethan Frey C / 1B / Rosepine, LA / 2022

The Louisiana State University signee finished his senior campaign with 13 homeruns, helping lead Rosepine to back to back Class 2A State Titles.  For his performance, Frey was also named our PBR Louisiana 2022 State Player of the Year.

Gavin Guidry SS / RHP / Barbe, LA / 2022

Guidry had a fantastic senior year for Barbe, hitting .425 with 5 HR and 25 RBI, while going 8-0 on the mound with a ridiculous 0.16 ERA.  The Louisiana State University signee arrived to Baton Rouge, LA to enroll in summer school at LSU, where he will now await the MLB First-Year Player Draft on July 17, 2022.

Maddox Ardoin OF / RHP / Sam Houston, LA / 2025

Ardoin is an athletic 6'0" 165 lbs. prospect out of Sam Houston HS, who had a good showing at our Lake Charles Open back in early June.  A good runner, he posted a 7.00 in the 60.  Showed a live arm from the OF, recording an 84 mph positional velocity and took a quality BP round with a gap to gap approach and a max exit velocity of 86 mph.

Marshall Louque SS / RHP / Lutcher, LA / 2025

Louque enjoyed the most successful season of any freshman in the state of Louisiana, helping lead Lutcher High School to the Class 3A State Title in May.  He finished the year hitting .466 with 6 HR and posted a 7-2 record on the mound, with his biggest win coming against Iota in the state semifinals.  We'll get to see Louque in a couple of weeks at the Future Games.

Dalton Sabathe C / 3B / Pearl River , LA / 2025

Sabathe was a guy that we liked after our Southeast Louisiana Preseason ID back in January, so we were excited to see him at our Top Prospect Games on June 15 at the University of Louisiana.  He continued to show that he's a high level defender with really good receiving and catch and throw skills.  His offense has continued to improve as well, as he showed an increase in bat speed and drove balls during his BP round from gap to gap.

Tanner Hall RHP / OF / Zachary, LA / 2020

Hall was the state's 4th ranked Right-Handed Pitcher in the 2020 Louisiana High School Class and was a big reason for Southern Mississippi's success this past spring, leading the Golden Eagles to hosting a Super Regional, before losing to eventual College World Series Champion Ole Miss.  He finished the year as an All-American after posting a 9-3 record with a 2.81 ERA, while striking out 146 and only walking 14.  Hall is currently a member of the Team USA Collegiate Team, as well.

Brant Melancon OF / LHP / Parkview Baptist, LA / 2024

Melancon has been a steady riser in the 2024 state rankings, after a great sophomore year for Parkview Baptist.  He helped the Eagles mostly on the mound this spring, on way to earning First Team All-District honors as a pitcher.  Next season, as a junior, we expect Melancon to continue to help on the mound and with the bat.

Landon Graves OF / RHP / Ouachita Christian, LA / 2023

College programs looking for an uncommitted outfielder, in the 2023 class, should look no further than Graves.  He attended our Top Prospects on June 15 and showed some of the best all-around tools that day.  A really good runner, Graves posted a 6.77 in the 60.  He also showed big time arm strength from the outfield, by posting an event best 93 mph positional velocity.

Ethan Judice SS / RHP / Hanson Memorial, LA / 2024

Judice was a member of our 2020 Junior Future Games team and we had the opportunity to see him up close again at our Top Prospect Games on June 15.  He's gained some physicality over the last year and has been able to still maintain the quick twitch and explosiveness in his game that makes him so intriguing.  His highest upside is definitely on the mound, where he's been up to 92 mph, sitting 87-91 mph with his FB (2400-2550 RPM), while mixing in a 77-79 mph SL (2600-2780 RPM) that has the makings of a swing and miss offering.
