Season Outlook
Coach Wyatt is heading into this 11th season as the skipper and will be looking for his team speed to get the Spartans on track. Returning six of his nine starters from last season, it should be an experienced Spartan roster heading into the 2016 season.

The team will be led by All-Conference members Tyler Collins (1st team), Jordan Simpson (2nd team) and Eric Berardicelli (Honorable Mention).  The overall strength of the Spartans will be team defense and speed. Simpson, Berardicelli, and Cody Cole should provide the strength in the middle of the field at for the Spartans. Keep an eye on Curtis Reed to also be a key contributor to the team in 2016.

Offensively Coach Wyatt believes this team will have to manufacture runs. After losing some big bats in the middle of the order. Look for them to play small ball at times, and use their speed to create runs. The Spartan pitchers will need to throw lots of strikes and let the solid defense behind them do their jobs.
