Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2024 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2024. Throughout the coming weeks, be on the lookout for our MD Public School Top 10, as well as a slew of additional preseason coverage.    

#15 Dulaney Lions   

Dulaney enters the 2024 spring looking to rebound after an early playoff exit in 2023. A program that is privy to a successful regular season in the 4A, the Lions have now moved into what is a loaded 3A classification for the 2024 spring season.

Depth and talent is still consistent on both sides of the ball, led by seniors Brendan Altman, Maddox Helme (Albright) and Thomas Mezzullo (McDaniel) leading the way on the offensive side. Look for junior Connor Dow and senior Ben Feltman to lead the pitching staff with depth provided by some underclassmen. Keep eyes on freshman Logan Park, as he may provide some key depth offensively for the Lions this spring.
